Muslim parents are outraged at flyer headlined “Eggstravaganza!” — an afternoon of fun featuring an egg hunt, relay race, and egg toss. The public schools have become a battle-ground for Islamic supremacists for some time. Islamic prayer rooms, prayer times, special Friday prayer accommodation, halal food in school cafeterias, Islamic proselytizing curricula, and Muslim hajj accommodation have been imposed on public schools across the country. Muslim parents demand that students be excused from music and co-ed phys-ed classes.

The Virginia State Legislature this month passed a joint resolution Commending the Dar Al-Hijrah Islamic Center on the 30th anniversary of its founding. This is the mosque that the Treasury Department’s Enforcement Communications System (TECS) says is “operating as a front for Hamas operatives in U.S.” and “is associated with Islamic extremists.”

The hijab is a political statement, not a religious mandate. Mark Steyn says in his book America Alone that “there is no evidence that any Muslim woman anywhere ever wore the jilbab before the disco era, when it was taken up by the Muslim Brotherhood and others in the Arab world. It is no more ancient and traditional than platform shoes, bell bottoms, and cheesecloth shirts.”

And “celebrating” Hijab Day is a political statement.

Hamas-CAIR and seven other terror-tied groups will be announcing the formation of the US Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO), an umbrella group that will serve as a “representative voice for Muslims as that faith community seeks to enhance its positive impact on society.”

Many of the Muslim groups in this newly formed U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations (USCMO) “operated in concert with a host of individuals and organizations dedicated to sustaining and furthering the Hamas movement.”

Today a caucus, tomorrow the Congress. Politicians are so desperate to find “the moderate Muslims” that they’ll do extraordinarily stupid things. 15,000 Ahmadi Muslims and they get their own caucus? These “moderate” Muslims smear, defame and attack counter jihadists like Robert Spencer and me, so color me skeptical. I have debated them on television here and in print. They provide essential cover for the global jihad.

So for those who insist that sharia coming to America, step back. It’s here. A local Muslim took the podium to address concerns he had with the city. The man, who identified himself as Hassan, stated that he lived in Westland but had concerns he wanted to address as an individual who works in the city. He refused to publicly give his address fearing for the safety of his family.
