Pete Hoekstra: “Beheaded Christian Doesn’t Regret Faith”

We are not a Muslim country under the sharia. But the left and the RINOs are behaving as though we were. We are free and the majority of Americans mean to stay free — the elites, on the other hand, have other plans for us.

Do we mean to be held hostage to the most radical and brutal ideology on the face of the earth? Do we mean to submit to the ideology behind the:
1993 World Trade Center bombing
1994 Brooklyn Bridge shooting
2000 Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin shoots two police officers
2000 New York terror attack
2000 millennium attack plots
2001 September 11 attacks
2002 Los Angeles Airport shooting
2002 José Padilla (Abdullah al-Muhajir) Plot
2002 Buffalo Six
2004 financial buildings plot
2005 Los Angeles bomb plot
2006 Sears Tower plot
2006 Toledo terror plot
2006 transatlantic aircraft plot
2007 Fort Dix attack plot
2007 John F. Kennedy International Airport attack plot
2009 Little Rock recruiting office shooting
2009 Bronx synagogue terrorism plot
2009 Dallas Car Bomb Plot by Hosam Maher Husein Smadi
2009 New York City Subway and United Kingdom plot
2009 Fort Hood shooting
2009 Colleen LaRose arrested (not made public until March 2010)
2010 King Salmon, Alaska local meteorologist and wife assassination plots
2010 Alleged Washington Metro bomb plot
2011 Waltham triple murder by Boston bombers

“Beheaded Christian Doesn’t Regret Faith,” By Pete Hoekstra, Daily Caller,  May 15, 2015

Only among the U.S. media would such a headline make sense.

Radical Islamist terrorists armed with AK-47s attacked hundreds of people at an event in Garland, Texas that sponsored a Muhammad cartoon exhibit and contest. The Associated Press headline that ran on countless websites and newspapers across the country declared: “Activist: No regrets about cartoon contest ended by gunfire.”

What’s next? “No apologies from Jews for inciting Holocaust?” or “No remorse from child aboard bus when bomb exploded?” Since when did it become acceptable, no less headline news, to blame the victim?

Apparently it started when violent Islamists and their sympathizers declared anyone who disagrees with them as Islamophobes subject to death for violating Sharia law. It became much safer and more politically correct to accept their bullying rather than to challenge them.

Numerous moralizing lecturers in the fourth estate piled on free speech activist and writer Pamela Geller for exercising her First Amendment rights guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution by hosting the event in Texas.

The Washington Post ran with the headline “Event organizer offers no apology after thwarted attack in Texas.”

The New York Times editorialized that Geller “achieved her provocative goal in Garland — the event was attacked by two Muslims who were shot to death by a traffic officer before they killed anyone.”

Bill O’Reilly said on his Fox News Channel program: “Insulting the entire Muslim world is stupid.” He added that Geller hurts the cause of attracting the support of moderate Muslims in the war against jihadists in countries like Jordan and Egypt. Muslims in those countries are already fighting a life and death battle against ISIS and al Qaida, and let’s not be so vain to think that it’s because of whether or not they like us. They do it to stay alive and preserve their children’s future.

Do O’Reilly and writers at the AP, The Washington Post and The New York Times still think that appeasing fanatical jihadists will lessen their hatred of the West and stop them from murdering innocent men, women and children of different faiths?

Been there, done that. It didn’t work.

President Obama tried it in Cairo not too long after his inauguration in 2009. With the Muslim Brotherhood invited to sit in the front row, he told his audience that “I have come here to seek a new beginning between the United States and Muslims around the world; one based upon mutual interest and mutual respect; and one based upon the truth that America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition.”

The administration then banned the use of such words as “Islamic terror” from the White House in a see no evil, hear no evil approach to the building threat.

The outcome? Islamist terrorists have since turned Libya into a chaotic lawless state, ISIS continues to control large swaths of Iraq and Syria, al Qaida owns the Arabian Peninsula, and individuals and groups worldwide – including within the United States – are pledging solidarity with ISIS.

It’s grand Theatre of the Absurd when elites target the First Amendment rights of fellow citizens as opposed to condemning a movement that sees mass murder as a rational response to objectionable caricatures.

I am no stranger to accepting speech with which I disagree. As a member of Congress I voted against prohibiting the burning of the Americam flag. As much as I find the act offensive, I was obligated to protect the Constitutional rights of Americans.

I and many others saw “Piss Christ” and “The Holy Virgin Mary” with its elephant dung and pornography as gratuitously obnoxious. The artists were free to offer the results of their creativity and imagination to the world and faced no violent retribution.

Such freedom doesn’t end when the killing starts.

There are those in the media who are at pains to avoid discussing the atrocities of radical Islamists who will stop at nothing to force Sharia law down the throat of world, including cutting the heads off Westerners, enslaving girls and burning opponents alive.

Geller held a cartoon contest and they portray her as a monster. Something isn’t quite right here.

I have. On Time Warner – Road Runner. I’d leave Atlas up for much of the day and then spontaneously the webpage would try to sell me detergent or insurance with a little video that started in the margin. Since I live alone it kind of freaked me out.

Wait a second…. Pete Hoekstra…

You were a politician???

And I am agreeing with you??

Well miracle of miracles!!!!! There is hope for America after all… I always hoped that if I lived long enough I would run into a good politician…

Now while I’ve got your ear…. Tell all your buds to pass laws forbidding the use of MY tax dollars for abortions, Forbidding their use for foriegn governments that are not Allies, and tell them to immediatly end the mandate to purchase health care insurance…. That way I can go back to work and have an income and pay taxes again….

I cant go against God almighty on these issues, and I am about to starve to freakin death by legally not paying taxes through having no income…. Tell all your buds for me will ya???

Will Americans stand with the Founding Fathers, who wrote the Bill of Rights for the Land of the Free – or will they stand with the vile Shariamonster which brings oppression and violence wherever it goes?

Stand with the Founding Fathers, and stand with Pamela Geller – and not with the cowardly idiots who would have us discard our most precious freedom.

Theodoric, I appreciate what you are trying to do, but your repeated posting of the same message with your same poster and website link has by now degenerated into tedious self-promotion.

Why not add something new and original to the conversation here — I’m sure you have the talent for it. Thanks

Comment Sheriff Ralph, I never before posted the message above, which I wrote this morning, and my website contains several different posters which happen to incorporate the same drawing of Muhammad. I am working on new drawings but it takes time to complete them – try drawing the Muhammasaurus Rasulex and see for yourself. Have YOU posted any Muhammad cartoons? If you have not even posted a single one yourself then you have no standing to complain that my postings lack variety. YOU may be in the habit of reading every post by Pamela, but you ought to realize that every article she posts will be read by thousands of people who have never read any of her posts before and have never seen any of my previous comments. That is especially true now when she is in the news more than ever. That is why I keep posting them – to reach the new readers as well as habitual readers like yourself. Her articles are read by people in countries all over the world, as I can see from the wordpress data that tells me what countries my visitors are coming from. They don’t find my site from web searches – they find my site from my comments on jihadwatch and pamelageller etc. My object is to stand not only with Pamela Geller but also with Bosch Fawstin, Lars Vilks, and other cartoonists who have put their lives at risk by drawing Muhammad. If everyone drew Muhammad and posted their drawings on facebook and elsewhere, don’t you think Fawstin and Vilks might have a longer life expectancy? I am not engaging in “self-promotion,” I am demonstrating that I won’t be intimidated into giving up my right to draw what I want to draw and criticize what I want to criticize. I have listened to dozens of speeches in which Geller asks the audience to join her fight in the “information battle-space.” That’s exactly what I’m trying to do, and she hasn’t complained about my way of doing it. Where’s YOUR cartoon Sheriff Ralph? Why don’t you try making one and see how much time it takes before you complain again about other people’s lack of variety. Otherwise consider how many other people there are in the world, who are visiting this site for the first time, before complaining that poor Ralph is not being entertained well enough by an unpaid artist standing up to the Islamites who hope to terrorize us into to giving up our freedoms.

Your passion for your mission makes me sorry that I became irritated when it seemed I was seeing your poster more frequently than Bosch’s.

You are doing the right thing by your lights and I respect you for that.

#1 Problem is that US citizens have not fully grasped that Washington is against us.
Once we come to know and fully understand that we are on our own, Islam is TOAST.

The dims and Rinos who criticize Pamela are guilty of doing what they accuse her of doing. Their appeasement is what strengthens the jihadis, not an art contest.

I wish Bill O’Reilly would hold his breath until the moderate muslims reform islam and rid us of jihad.

The “moderates” will not reform Islam; ISIS and similar groups are already reforming it.

Where are the “moderate” Muslims?
If they rigorously follow the Koran, they would not be “moderate”. Islam is an extremist religion and wants to impose sharia law on the entire world. Is there any good at all in Islam?

I would suggest that ‘moderate’ and ‘radical’ muslims do not exist! Islam is islam………..period! There are but two kinds of muslims; jihadists, and potential jihadists!

I really think that Islam is the police force and the elites the government. Even Communism could not subdue the people to the level Islam can so Islam is a perfect vehicle to enslave the world. In Islam there is no need for an actual police force because everyone polices everyone while the top clerics issue commands for everyone to follow.
So what better way to enslave the entire world. Our governments are top muftis and plan to stay that way thinking they will be safe from the rabid mob and will rule over the mob by turning each and every one of us into zombies and making sure we are so brainwashed that we will comply or our neighbour will kill us.
They know exactly what they are doing. They are NOT naive. We need to get rid of them.

We can try by never voting for the main parties. We need to vote for people who stand with us and there are some but we have labelled them racist.
