Look at the reportage on this free speech putsch from the lefist elites, “Democrats Want to Ban Islamophobic Lawmaker From the U.S.” Democrats? How about lawmakers with blue pants? It’s Muslims seeking to impose the vicious and oppressive sharia here in the US. Oppose jihad? Oppose sharia? Then you are “Islamophobic.”
It is revealing that these Muslim congressmen would show themselves to be enemies of free speech and free discourse. They cannot refute Wilders and don’t dare debate him. All these little authoritarians can do is try to prevent people from hearing his message. That is the sharia.
Wilders is coming to America to speak at the AFDI Muhammad Art Exhibit and Cartoon Contest. It’s one for the history books. I hope you have your tickets.

This article in Foreign Policy magazine, a citadel of leftist power and influence, sounds like it could have been written by ISIS.
“Democrats Want to Ban Islamophobic Lawmaker From the U.S.,” By John Hudson, Foreign Policy, April 28, 2015
In a letter obtained by Foreign Policy, two Democratic members of Congress are urging President Barack Obama’s administration to ban a Dutch lawmaker from entry into the United States due to his controversial views on Islam.
The Dutch lawmaker, Geert Wilders, is scheduled to speak at a reception on Capitol Hill this month at the invitation of Tea Party firebrand Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas). In recent years, Wilders has become internationally famous for his bombastic broadsides against Islam, which include calls to ban the Quran in the Netherlands and to arrange for the removal of Moroccan immigrants from his country. In 2010 and 2011, Wilders was formally charged in the Netherlands with inciting hatred and discrimination and is currently facing charges for hate speech.
“We respectfully request that the U.S. government deny Mr. Wilders entry due to his participation in inciting anti-Muslim aggression and violence,” wrote Reps. Keith Ellison (D-Minn.) and André Carson (D-Ind.) in the April 23 letter. “Mr. Wilders’ policy agenda is centered on the principle that Christian culture is superior to other cultures.”
The letter, addressed to Secretary of State John Kerry and Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson, calls on the officials to deny Wilders entry under the authority of the International Religious Freedom Act, which empowers the State Department to ban the entry of a foreign leader responsible for severe violations of religious freedom.
The somewhat obscure 1998 law has only been used to deny the entry of a foreign official once, when Narendra Modi, the current prime minister of India and former chief minister of Gujarat, was accused of failing to protect Muslims during communal rioting in 2002.
Wilders has called Islam the “ideology of a retarded culture,” and his writings were favorably cited by Anders Breivik, the Norwegian white supremacist responsible for murdering 77 people in the Oslo area in 2012. He was most recently in the news for recording a two-minute video titled “No Way,” in which he tells migrants not to come to the Netherlands.
While foreign-policy hands on Capitol Hill widely view Wilders as an obscene bloviator, some aides questioned whether banning him from entering the country violates basic principles of free speech.
“It’s a pretty heavy-handed use of that law,” said a Democratic congressional aide who oversees foreign relations issues. “And if you’re going to start banning people for saying offensive things against Islam, you’re going to have to deport half the Republican caucus.”
The letter anticipates such criticisms and attempts to justify banning Wilders on account of his alleged incitement to violence.
“In the U.S., freedom of speech is a bedrock principle that distinguishes free societies from ones living under oppressive regimes,” wrote Ellison and Carson. “Freedom of speech, however, is not absolute. It is limited by the legal and moral understanding that speech that causes the incitement of violence or prejudicial action against protected groups is wrong.”
Gohmert’s office did not respond to requests for comment.

Wilders incites violence? That is rich. Criticism of religion, politics, ideology, dress, hairstyles, movies… ALL necessary for a free society. With slogans on posters such as “Freedom Go To Hell” etc. etc., we are at an impasse with those who oppose our bedrock principles. They are based on the idea that truth will out in a free debate. BANNING speech is what Islamic dictatorships do. I mean… Erdogan just banned Minecraft in Turkey.
The argument that they are trying to employ is the “crying “fire!” In a crowded theater is not protected speech because it can cause harm (“violence”). Not true, though, of political speech, or criticism of religion. What they’re tacitly admitting is that either their moslems will riot if they hear speech that offends them, or that people will run around persecuting moslems if they listen to Wilders.
Both of these arguments fail regarding the First Amendment. The reason is that no average person will run out and harm or kill moslems based on a member of parliament in the Netherlands giving a speech–but the average person WOULD run and possibly trample someone in a desperate panic to save their life.
Established case law is profuse on this issue.

Pamela, thanks for the tip off on Foreign Policy Magazine. I have only heard of it in passing, but I never would have guessed that it could be that far out of touch with the world situation relating to Islamic aggressive expansion, especially in Europe.

He had a successful visit to the United States in the last week of September,2014 & is heading one of the largest democracy in the world………….

You make me ashamed that a public servant could twist our sacred principle of free speech to suit your own evil ends. I do not like you. But don’t worry, I’m above the violence that your faith teaches. I was raised by fine Christian parents that taught me good values and to respect the life and religious beliefs of others. I guess you can say I was blessed. You, however, are cursed with the mental deficiency that allows you to see good in evil, light in spiritual darkness.
Give it your best shot ellison, but you won’t win. Fortunately the world has discovered a new animal, it’s called the islamophobe. We find no disgrace in the epithet. Foreign Policy is the mouthpiece of the Council on Foreign Relations. It is fair to say based on this article that the imposition of sharia in the West has support in the highest levels of government and in the foreign policy community. Amazing how quickly a constitutional order can be threatened and treason become too common to be called what it is.

Guess I’m an “Islamophobic” as I both fear and hate with all my being Islam. I have seen the killings, beheadings, cutting babies in half, destroying all ancient artificats and Christain Churches and rapes every day commited by the Islamist. This CANNOT be denied!! If one tells the truth about Islam (it’s in the Koran) then according to the Islamist it’s “a controversial view that incites anti-Islam agression and violence” yet they cannot demonstrate ONE example of this.
