Anyone who believes that silencing themselves in accordance with the sharia (Islamic law) is going to satisfy these savages is grossly and sadly mistaken. The more you submit, the more you abridge your freedoms, the more demands will be made.
Rewarding savagery with submission is surrender. We cannot forfeit the greatest of all Gd’s gifts –– freedom.
In the wake of the Charlie Hebdo jihad massacre, Muslim groups held a “Stand With Prophet” event against “islamophobic” speech in Garland, Texas. At a time when American Muslim groups in the US should have stood up for free speech and showed the world the way forward, they chose to stand with the Charlie Hebdo jihadists. They had speakers with known terror ties to 9/11. One of their speakers was Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was an “unindicted co-conspirator” in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings trial. Wahhaj has called the FBI and CIA the “real terrorists” and expressed a desire for all Americans to become Muslim, according to the New York Post.

Here’s the latest attack on our freedoms, reported by the notoriously pro-sharia “Foreign Policy” magazine:
“Online Jihadis Call for Attacks on Cartoonists in United States, Australia,” Foreign Policy, April 23, 2015
Australian cartoonist Larry Pickering is no stranger to controversy. The right-wing provocateur has drawn former Labor Prime Minister Julia Gillard clad in a dildo and is currently waging a campaign on his website against Halal meat. His depiction of the Prophet Muhammad being roasted on a spit as a pig sparked an array of threats, and in January, Australian authorities put Pickering under police protection.
In recent days, jihadis have once more begun an online drumbeat calling for Pickering’s murder, according to the SITE Intelligence Group, which monitors jihadi chatter and statements on the Internet. Other statements contained threats against American cartoonists as well.
On Monday, an Australian Twitter user and proclaimed supporter of the Islamic State militant group posted the address of the Australian, a newspaper that has published what the user, @AusWitness2, described as insulting images of the Prophet Muhammad. In the aftermath of the massacre at the offices of satirical weekly Charlie Hebdo, the Sydney-based newspaper was one of several outlets that published the magazine’s cartoons, which frequently depicted the prophet in satirical and sometimes unsightly ways. On Friday, @AusWitness2complained about Pickering Muhammad cartoons.
On Thursday, an account purporting to belong to Mohamed Abdullahi Hassan, an American jihadi reportedly fighting in Somalia, called for attacks to be carried out in the United States similar to those on the offices of Charlie Hebdo.
Hassan’s account, writing under the moniker Mujahid Miski, claims that his current handle, @_Love_Hoor_Iyah is his 31st such account. While Twitter frequently attempts to take down Twitter accounts belonging to militant groups or their sympathizers, it has struggled to do so in a timely fashion, and the Islamic State and its hangers-on have made the platform the main method of distribution for their propaganda.
Indeed, the statements about attacks on cartoonists remain available online four days after they were posted.

I miss any leader who would, at the very least, acknowledge the fact that this is an ISLAMIC problem and not some fringe faction of random lunacy. Their weapon (and Mohammed’s) was fear by savagery. More of the same and more of the same etc

I know the adds pay for your work. But these aggressive adds keep me from visiting your site as much as I use to.

Any Muslims who believe cartoonists should be attacked are going against Islam. The Quran says:
And the (favourite) servants of the Most Kind (Lord) are those who walk gently on the earth, and when the ignorant (i.e., impolite) people say to them something (unlikable), they (get aside),saying: ‘Peace.’ (Quran 25:63)
The Prophet saw and the first Muslims were taunted and tortured. They were boycotted and even killed. Worst things happened than insulting cartoons, but too many Muslims today have forgotten that for fifteen years, the Prophet and the Muslims remained non-violent. The boycott against the Muslims contributed to the death of the love of Muhammad’s life, Khadijah. Yet he did not complain.
A true Muslim will be a peacemaker even when they throw their stones at us. Even when they spit on our faces. Even when they abuse free speech and taunt us. We are tested now the same way the Prophet saw and the first Muslims were tested. And now we will see who are the true Muslims and those who have gone astray. Who will walk on even if it leaves our hearts broken?

Quran (2:216) – “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it.
But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and
that ye love a thing which is bad for you.
Quran (3:56) – “As to those who reject faith, I will punish them with terrible agony in this world and in the Hereafter, nor will they have anyone to help.”
Quran (3:151) – “Soon shall We cast terror
into the hearts of the Unbelievers, for that they joined companions
with Allah, for which He had sent no authority”.
(Most Moslm countries have death sentence to Athiest)
Quran (5:33) – “The punishment of those
who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief
in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or
their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they
should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this
world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement”
Quran (8:12) – “I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them”
Quran (9:5) – “So when the sacred months
have passed away, then slay the idolaters wherever you find them, and
take them captives and besiege them and lie in wait for them in every
ambush, then if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate,
leave their way free to them.” According to this verse, the best way of
staying safe from Muslim violence is to convert to Islam
Quran (9:123) – “O you who believe! fight those of the unbelievers who are near to you and let them find in you hardness.”
There are many many quotes which are dangerous to human beings…people here are very well informed abt your religious peace concepts………..I suggest you to leave this religion & choose any other religion under the sun….come out of hate, come to the truth..become a human & respect a human life…..Thanks to technology that people are well informed. your religion is just surviving on the basis of terror, threats and bloodbath….

Fighting is allowed in Islam, but only in self-defense. And there are conditions such as not harming children, women or the elderly. And there are quite a few verses about unbelievers being punished. Personally, I see it as the Day of Regret and how it would feel to waste my whole life on anything but good deeds/karma only to meet the Love and Light when my life is over. I wasted over 40 years and I am not going to waste any more. Also there is a verse in Quran that says all the children of Adam do believe and have since before they were born:
And when Your Lord summoned the descendants of Adam, and made them
testify about themselves. ‘Am I not your Lord?’ They said, ‘Yes, we
testify.’ Thus you cannot say on the Day of Resurrection, ‘We were
unaware of this.’ (Quran 7:172)
We may live out our earthly lives as unbelievers, but behind the veils within our souls, we believe just as all creation does.
ART THOU NOT aware that it is God whose limitless glory all [creatures]
that are in the heavens and on earth extol, even the birds as they
spread out their wings? Each [of them] knows indeed how to pray unto Him
and to glorify Him; and God has full knowledge of all that they do: (Quran 24:41)
Now back to the topic of fighting in Islam. Muslims can fight in self-defense or to stop oppression. You posted 2:216.
Quran (2:216) – “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it.

Permission (to fight) is given to those upon whom war is made because

away from wherever they drove you away – for oppression is even
worse than killing. And fight not against them near

aggressors.But if they desist – behold, God is much-forgiving, a dispenser

As for ayat about Unbelievers and death sentences for atheists, this is a very long discussion which is worth having, but maybe tomorrow after I get some shut eye? Its horrible what Islamic tyrants are doing now with shariah law to force people to be hypocrites (ie-Muslim on the outside, atheist on the inside). When the Charter of Medina was signed, there were pagans, Jews and Christians living with the Muslims. And this would no doubt have included the atheists as well.
Yes, there are verses about fighting and God’s commands to fight. But we can flip through the Bible and do the same thing. I do not want to do this because it disrespects a Book that Muslims believe in, but I will give a few examples just to show what people like you do when they try to make Islam look violent. Also, before I begin, I mean no disrespect to Jews or Christians, but fellow siblings whose father is also Abraham.
(G-d is saying to Moses, peace be upon him) 17 Now kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has ever slept with a man. 18 But the young girls who have never slept with a man, keep alive for yourselves. (Numbers 31:17-18)
27 He told them, “Here is what Adonai,
the God of Isra’el, says: ‘Each of you, put his sword on his side; and
go up and down the camp, from gate to gate; and every man is to kill his
own kinsman, his own friend and his own neighbor!” (Exodus 32:27)
“As for the towns of these peoples, which Adonai your God is giving you as your inheritance, you are not to allow anything that breathes to live. (Deuteronomy 20:16)
So I can make G-d look evil and my brothers and sisters who are Jews look evil for following the Torah. Or I can practice peace, tolerance and compassion, seeking to use the sacred text of my brothers and sisters for what is good just as I do with the sacred text of my religon.
In the Torah are some beautiful verses:
And
they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into
pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither
shall they learn war anymore. (Isaiah 2:4)

Well, you have to accept that killings of Atheist or unbelievers are legal in almost all Moslm countries …your single opinion is a lie and you are marketing ur religion with a single mind set of conversion….there are death sentences for leaving Islam..there are death sentences to gay or lesbo couples….Women testimony is having half importance & husbands are allowed to beat their wives..its full of barbarism including on animals…This religion is based on very weak foundation…as a moslm you can go to non moslm countries & covert people but you are afraid to allow other religion to come into Moslm majority nation & accept other faith..if they do so, these countries reward deaths…..
So…there is NO GOD but SATAN (EVIL) is what you believe…You think believing evil & dying for him will take u in heaven which is absolutely wrong…even your prophet got killed by one of his wife & he was not sure whether he is going in heaven or hell….

I know what is happening in many Islamic countries. And its sickening. My opinion does matter because it comes from the Quran and sunnah and because for anything to change someone has to work toward changing it.
The ummah at the time of the Prophet, peace be upon him, included Jews, Christians and pagans. People were not forced to believe as they are nowadays. Non-muslims could practice their own religion, the laws of their own religion. They were exempt from fighting, but were protected during times of fighting.
One request. Don’t use the word “lesbos”. Its pretty offensive. I am part of the lgbt Muslim community and I’m blessed to live in the west. In Islamic countries lesbian and gay people are often killed or imprisoned. In the west, we are making a lot of progress, but it remains a very serious human rights issue in many Islamic nations.
I disagree that Islam allows beating of wives or barbarism toward animals. Just the opposite. I believe it is the opposite.
And among His Signs is this, that He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts): verily in that areSigns for those who reflect. (30:21)
There are quite a few hadith about treating animals well. Such as:
The Prophet (pbuh) said, “Whoever kills a sparrow or anything bigger than that without a just cause, Allah will hold him accountable on the Day of Judgment.” The listeners asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what is a just cause?” He replied, “That he will kill it to eat, not simply to chop off its head and then throw it away.” (Nisai, Hakim)
“A good deed done to a beast is as good as doing good to a human being; while an act of cruelty to a beast is as bad as an act of cruelty to human beings.”
and:
“Kindness to animals was promised by rewards in Life Hereafter.” (Bukhari, Muslim).

Dear sister, yes he killed people. He is not the only Prophet who fought battles or killed people. Moses murdered someone. King David, author of the Psalms, was a warrior. In the Bhagavad Gita, Arjun is a young warrior who is having trouble deciding if he should go to war.
AS for marrying a nine year old girl, historians are now looking at the various dates such as Asma’s (Aisha’s sister) age when certain events occurred. In Arabia, they didn’t keep very good records or careful track of the dates (in fact they were known to change the dates!). But according to various records of events, it now looks like Aisha was at least 15-19 when she married Muhammad.
Its important this message reach those in poverty stricken areas where girls are still sold as child brides to men.

This is pure taqiyya to make the cult palatable to non-Muslims.
The Islamic scriptures are very clear that she was 6 when betrothed, that he had sexual access to her on unsupervised visits to his house for the 3 years of betrothal while she was still living with her parents, and that he consummated the marriage when she was 9. And that she brought her dolls to his house when she moved in with him upon “marriage”.
Oh, yes, and that shortly after the “marriage”, he defeated the Jews of Medina, and had a big lunchtime banquet with poor little 9 year old Aisha sitting by his side, and had a great time eating at the banquet while the hundreds of Jews were led in front of him and murdered on the spot.
