Just to be clear, the Strait of Hormuz is an international waterway. It is not under Iran’s jurisdiction. Tehran does not possess the legal authority to unilaterally shut down one of the world’s most important shipping lanes. Any attempt to block or suspend international transit would challenge long-standing principles of freedom of navigation and disrupt global commerce.
The United States and most maritime powers maintain that the right of transit passage reflects customary international law. Despite that legal disagreement, the dominant international view is that Iran cannot lawfully close the Strait to international navigation.
No nation has the right to recognize Iran’s illegal seizure of the Strait.
The June 2026 Tehran Accord stands as the ultimate executioner of international trust. Donald Trump traded decades of strategic alliances for short-term political survival, leaving a trail of broken promises from Washington to Jerusalem.
If authentic, these would be the most politically explosive and controversial provisions and the White House’s response to critics…

I am an unapologetic supporter President Trump but he’s got it wrong on Iran. His continued attempts to negotiate with these savage as though they are rational partners will continue to end in failure, with America’s allies paying the price in blood.
Make no mistake, Hezb’Allah (Party of Allah) is Iran.
If Iran thinks it can circumvent the ‘ceasefire” by hitting Israel, they are sadly mistaken.
The leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran know that all they had to do in order to emerge victorious from this conflict was wait out the United States until the conflict became politically too costly, or potentially costly, for the Trump administration to pursue.
Risking life and limb, young Iranians have taken to the streets, again.
Time to take the gloves off. Basta.
