The left’s objective is to terrify the populace into submission and, above all, to preserve and protect its own counterfactual narrative, which is the basis of its power. Sittarh Mazhar Khan, a Muslim woman in Kingwood, Texas, a section of Houston, “is accused of beating, choking, and burning her 14-year-old daughter in October of last year.” At a hearing on her case, an officer explained that “the defendant, upset the complainant did not wear her hijab at school, beat and choked the complainant, causing her to lose consciousness.”

Now the proxy war that the Islamic Republic of Iran has been fighting against the state of Israel is out in the open, as Iran rained rockets and drones upon Israel Saturday night. The attack had little effect, but as events unfold, however, one overarching fact remains paramount: none of this would be happening if it weren’t for Old Joe Biden’s determination to appease and enable the Islamic Republic of Iran.

This story is as horrific as many others like it, but generally they take place in Muslim-majority countries and receive little, of any, notice in the West. In this case, Mohamedamin Abdirisek Ibrahim cleansed his family’s honor not back home in Somalia, but in ostensibly civilized Sweden, and the news has traveled far and wide. But will anything be done to protect women in Sweden or anywhere else against this sort of thing? Come on, man!

This claim is not only absurd; it’s a classic case of projection. The American republic (it’s not a democracy, kids) is indeed in serious danger, but the danger is coming from those who are claiming that they are trying to save it from Trump.

Hamakom synagogue, a conservative congregation in Los Angeles, has just gotten a bracing introduction to the reality beneath the surface of efforts at “outreach” and “dialogue”: it leased its facility to a local Muslim group, only to have it host a viciously anti-Israel speaker who has refused to condemn Hamas and likened the Jewish state to National Socialist Germany. Yeah, tensions are really eased now.

Every aspect of this story is bad, and each horrifying aspect is competing with the others for which can have the most negative consequences for the American people. After Jews suffered attacks in Chicago, the Biden regime reached out not to Jewish leaders, but to Muslim groups, including open supporters of Hamas. The Muslims, however, enraged at the regime’s continued (albeit hollow) support for Israel, refused to show.

A calculated insult to a Jewish man with whom Biden has been publicly at odds. To put into perspective how odd this is, imagine if Trump had told Netanyahu that they had to have a “come to Jesus meeting,” or made the sign of the cross while sitting right next to him.

Note also that Biden didn’t make the sign of the cross when he met with his friend Mahmoud Abbas, or tell him that they had to have a “come to Jesus meeting.” What’s more, Biden has made the sign of the cross more than once in the context of denouncing his enemies.

Will Europe embrace and defend the freedom of expression or blasphemy laws? And once Europe makes its choice, what will the United States of America do in turn about the same issue? The Paper of Record shows no sign of firing Masoud or returning the George Polk award he won, but the Jerusalem Post had the story on Thursday, noting that the media watchdog Honest Reporting had “highlighted his accreditation to a photo provided to the Associated Press, with the caption, ‘Palestinians wave their national flag and celebrate by a destroyed Israeli tank at the Gaza Strip fence east of Khan Younis southern Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023.’

No sooner had Martin Griffiths, the UN’s Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, declared that Hamas was not a terrorist group than it came it light that at least 30 UNRWA employees actively participated in Hamas’ Oct. 7 jihad massacre of 1,200 Israelis. So now we see: of course Hamas isn’t a terror group. It’s a UN agency.

After he went down in flames in Thursday evening’s ill-advised and unscheduled press conference, the whole world knows (if it didn’t know already) that Old Joe Biden is not fit to be president of the United States. But like the Japanese soldier Hiroo Onoda, who refused to believe that World War II was over and held out for nearly third years in the Philippines jungle, there is one holdout who still insists that Biden is fit, competent, and ready to wreak more havoc upon the nation until Jan. 20, 2029: Rachel Maddow.

The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) is one of the most corrupt, sinister, and dishonest organizations of any kind operating anywhere in the world today, and finally the West appears to be waking to that:

Nuts. This “lasting solution” has been offered to the Palestinians numerous times, and they have always rejected it. Not only has it never worked, but it never will work, as it fails to take note of one of the most important elements of the conflict.

Imagine if a Jewish or Christian cleric in any Western nation preached a sermon in which he declared that Muslims were “bloodthirsty,” as well as cowardly and treacherous. The outcry would be immediate and immense. Commissions would be established to study “Islamophobia” and determine its remedies, which would inevitably involve more government control over speech.

What would happen if the educational system of a large, highly developed superpower were turned over for half a century to the mortal enemies of everything that nation stood for? This isn’t rocket science. The obvious result would be that a generation (or more) of young people would grow up loving that nation’s enemies and hating its heroes. And here we are.

Christmas used to be the season of joy, hope, and renewal, but all that is so pre-October 7. The new Christmas spirit is one of lies, rage, and hate. In that new spirit of the woke twenty-first century victimhood Christmas, the Evangelical Lutheran Christmas Church in Bethlehem has set out a figure of the baby Jesus not in the traditional cradle in a manger, but surrounded by rubble meant to indicate buildings destroyed by the Israelis. Because nothing says Christmas more beautifully than hating Jews, right?

In Old Joe Biden’s America, those who hate the country and want to see it radically “transformed” into a state without borders, the freedom of speech, the right to bear arms and other annoying obstacles to socialist internationalism, are in the driver’s seat. And they’re raking in millions.

The ceasefire charade is over for now, Hamas has had a chance to regroup, and the Israelis are determined now to finish the job and destroy the threat from the bloodthirsty jihad group forever. The Biden regime, however, is telling them to ease up, and let Hamas live to kill more Israeli civilians on another day. In light of the heavy pressure the regime has been receiving from its far-Left base, and its anti-Israel stance from the beginning, this is no surprise.
