This is how the left deals with the jihadis in its own ranks. Rather than confront them, party leaders shield them, enabling their rise and allowing their influence to spread. They recognize the threat, fear it themselves, yet fail to warn the very people they seek to govern. Instead of exposing the danger and standing up for their constituents, they retreat into silence and concealment.
Just like the Democrats here in America.
Berlin’s lead mayoral candidate Elif Eralp of the left-wing Die Linke party is facing intense political backlash after accidentally leaking internal notes in late October 2026 revealing that she and her family are terrified of Muslims party members with connections to Hamas.
Elif Eralp, Die Linke’s top candidate after winning the most votes in Berlin’s September 20 election, accidentally shared internal notes with Der Spiegel expressing fears over activist Ibrahim Ibrahim, tied by authorities to Hamas and PFLP networks. She compared the risk to dealing with organized crime and considered canceling an interview to protect her family. The October 29 leak has sparked calls from CDU politicians for SPD and Greens to rethink the coalition that would place her in charge of the city’s police and security, while Eralp vows to combat crime, violence, and terror undeterred.
Astonishing insight into the deal the left has made with the devil: far-left party leader in Germany admits Hamas “controls” her party & she is afraid for her life & those of her children.

The woman who wants to run Berlin wrote in the margins of a Spiegel interview that she and her husband are afraid of Hamas sympathizers in the city, and asked her team if they could cancel the whole interview.
Her office sent the notes to Spiegel by mistake.

The man she was afraid to name is Ibrahim Ibrahim, a PFLP supporter who called Sinwar, the man who led the October 7th massacres a “martyr hero.” He showed up at her party’s victory celebration in Neukölln. Days later he flew to Istanbul for a conference with Hamas-linked figures.
Berlin’s own intelligence service lists the group he works for as a Hamas support organization.
Elif Eralp won the election on September 20. Her party doubled its vote. She is now negotiating with the Greens and SPD to become governing mayor, which means she would be responsible for the city’s police and security.
The police advised her not to name names. If the candidate for mayor is too scared to say out loud who is intimidating her, the people doing the intimidating already have more power in Berlin than the people who are supposed to govern it.
