“Mustafa Kamel Mustafa, the former north London imam more commonly known by his alias Abu Hamza, used his Finsbury Park mosque in the mid and late-1990s as his ‘base of operations for the global export of violence and terror’, a US prosecutor has told a New York court.” But with a British government that wants to make London into a global center of Sharia finance, what’s the problem with that? To be consistent, they should be embracing Abu Hamza, not sending him to the US to stand trial.

Living by jihad and sharia is based on ideology and irrespective of piety, education, wealth, power and status. Just as violent jihadists come from a vast array of different countries, income and education levels, sharia adherents, like this powerful diplomat, are highly educated, affluent but always Muslim.

Boston bombing and triple Jewish murder suspect Ibragim Todashev, a mixed martial arts fighter, flipped a coffee table in the air, knocking down the FBI agent and causing a bloody gash on the agent’s head. The Obama White House routinely bars news media from meetings with foreign leaders and other events, then releases its own photos of those events. But the remnants of what once was a free press in America are meekly fighting back. The Associated Press reported last week, “The presidents of the American Society of Newspaper Editors and the Associated Press Media Editors have urged their members to stop using White House handout photos and video, saying they amount to propaganda.”
