New Israel Fund Supported by UK Muslim Supremacist Leader

Tell me who your friends are, and I’ll tell you who you are.

The New Israel Fund was supported on Twitter tonight by none other than Mohammed Amin, a British Muslim who is Vice Chairman of the Conservative Muslim Forum.

He regularly supports NIF – and here’s his latest:

I would like to reaffirm my support for the New Israel Fund. I deplore the politically motivated attacks on it. #NIFLoveBomb

To cite Wikipedia, Amin’s “organisation claim that British relations with Israel could ‘damage Britain’s relationships with 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide, including those in Britain.’ and calls on the party to be more sympathetic towards Iran’s nuclear ambitions.” [5]

Melanie Phillips, a columnist for the Daily Mail and Spectator magazine, has said of its report An Unquiet World: A Response, that “The recent paper written for the Tories by the Conservative Muslim Forum is a deeply troubling document. Set up to provide a dialogue with Britain’s Muslims and advise on tackling Islamist extremism, the group merely demonstrated depressingly that it shares many of the culturally belligerent attitudes driving that extremism.”[1]

Nile Gardiner in the National Review Online criticized the same report, suggesting that it “openly appeases Islamic radicalism.” Gardiner said in the same article that, “The establishment of the Conservative Muslim Forum is a dangerous flirtation with Islamic extremism that should be brought to an end.”[2]

A. Millar in The Brussels Journal has remarked, “A radical form of Islam is on the rise in Britain. It is facilitated by sharia courts, and, in my personal opinion, by the Conservative Muslim Forum.”[3]

In other news, as reported on Front Page Mag, alongside Alisa Doctoroff  “other NIF donors, such as Peter Ascoli, emanate from famous families who have a long history of Jewish animosity towards Israel. Peter’s grandfather, Julius Rosenwald, was Chairman & President of Sears, the largest retailer in America, whose biographer noted, “Unlike many of his contemporaries in the Jewish community, he had no interest in Zionism, feeling that a homeland in Israel had nothing to offer American Jews, who had already found a land of opportunity in which to flourish and grow.”

“…Set up to provide a dialogue with Britain’s Muslims and advise on tackling Islamist extremism, the group merely demonstrated depressingly that it shares many of the culturally belligerent attitudes driving that extremism. ”
Poor Melanie, how dare reality contradict expectations. Did she really believe there would be some other response?
And . at the head of the article, the remark by Amin about damage being done to 1.5 billion Muslims worldwide… they keep spouting this number every opportune it, like trying to remind us about something. Well there are billions of bacteria in my gut. Billions of galaxies wheeling about in the night sky. My opinion, the bacteria in my gut are at least useful and gainfully employed.

Melanie Phillips has been writing about the growing threat of radical Islam for many years – ‘Londonistan’ (published 2006).

I was being wilfully obtuse when I read the article. I misread her comment, and unreservedly apologise for the excoriating tone. She is indeed on the side of the angels. I’m going to order “Londonistan” from the local bookshop, as penance. And read it. Thank you for setting me straight.

Clem, I wasn’t trying to be overly critical. I’m just an ordinary bloke from the UK trying to understand this so-called religion of peace. The more I learn about Islam, the less I like. I remember buying ‘Londonistan’ when it first came out having seen it on open display in a high street book retailer. Nine years on, I’m sure that if Ms Phillips wrote a follow-up to ‘Londonistan’ some retailers wouldn’t even bother ordering the book. Make no mistake, the sharia is already in force.

No problem, I discerned you were just telling me something with no umm , malice or anything. I too am just an ordinary guy in Australia, I never really gave any heed to Islam, even after 911. Most of the people at my work and most friends would opine that ” the yanks had it coming to them, probably “. Funnily enough it was the riots in Ferguson that made me reconsider some life long views, including about racism in America that led me to read up on the Nation of Islam. I am a lifelong lover of black american music styles and NOI features a bit in the projects of hiphop/rap artists (sic). I then stumbled across thereligionofpeace website and Mme Geller’s site. My overall political outlook, if I need to spell it out has swung pretty much completely from the left to a more conservative view of things. I watch Fox every day , and I have resumed reading the classics, American history , and find myself rather awestruck by judaism. But i was born into a lutheran family, and have been agnostic pretty much all my life. I am intrigued by people like Ms Phillips ( and the late Mr Hitchens) who change their views. I don’t want to diss people who don’t deserve it I guess.

I liked early Def Jam hip-hop, Run DMC etc When misogyny replaced fun I switched off. I came across the Nation of Islam for the first time whilst reading the sleeve-notes of a Public Enemy album. Tell your friends and colleagues in Australia to take notice of what is happening in Europe and here in the UK. Don’t vote for a politician who tries to convince you that Islam is not a problem. There is no such thing as moderate Islam. Keep posting, keep speaking out.

Does anybody ever listen to Rachel Maddow (MSNBC)? This poor woman thinks that all islamic violence is just muslims killing off one another, Christians & Jews. Nobody will kill/threaten/blackbag her, because she is an atheist. There doesn’t seem to be any grasp of islam there, any understanding of the enforcement of sharia, any take-over of the West. Does anybody else find her a pitiable, deluded person? Or am I just horribly prejudiced?

On another discussion thread, I was momentarily awestruck when a jaundiced wag asked : ” Who is that terribly dreary, homely young man?” Superb. Here in OZ we don’t get MSNBC , but believe me, any news/opinion dissemination org that uses Al Sharpton, I get. Totally. No point complaining about MSNBC , or rather no need I believe it is a dying animal,
until another boomer zombie foundation (C) Everyone Else
(above) reanimates it.

Thanks, Clem. I’ve now heard her three or four times (through the offices of a good friend) and I thought I was simply being intolerable.

BIG PROBLEM GOING FORWARD

The Bronfman Fund comes from money made by Sam Bronfman who died in 1971. His wife Saidye died in 1995.

1985 was the year of least anti-Semitism in the world. The Bronfman fund was established at a time when it seemed anti-Semitism was finally dying off. Unfortunately it has gotten worse every year since then.

The giant monolith of the Bronfman fund is marching through philanthropy with principles that are outdated, and a family that’s out of touch.

Unless and until someone slaps this fund awake, it will continue marching through philanthropy like a giant zombie.

There are plenty of other boomer zombie foundations also giving money to organizations that would have made their founders vomit.

It’s tragic that so much money is so poorly directed.
