Turkey Refusing to Release Detained Greek Soldiers

A Turkish court on Monday refused to release two Greek soldiers who strayed across the border into Turkey last week. Turkey accuses the soldiers of being spies. Greece claims the border crossing was accidental due to heavy snow and fog. This is just the latest example of Turkey threatening its neighbors under President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s rule.

Austria knife attack: ‘Indiscriminate’ ‘mass stabbing’ in heavily Jewish area of Vienna leaves ‘several injured’, whole family hacked up

The attacker “randomly attacked pedestrians” in a heavily Jewish area of Vienna. The attacker indiscriminately stabbed at passers-by with a knife on Wednesday evening, there are three seriously injured people – an Austrian family – a mum, dad and daughter – who were attacked outside a restaurant. This is a heavily Jewish area.
