The Trump admin cancelled 400 million in fedeeral funding but that was merely a drop in the bucket and hardly an impetus for real change. Columbia reportedly receives around $1.6 billion in federal funding, according to analyses of the university’s financial structure,  roughly 28% of its $6.2 billion annual budget.

How successful was it? Reading scores dropped after first year of new literacy curriculum.
