Americans should not have to navigate an obstacle course to cast a ballot. This is by design and always in key battleground states and swing districts.
In Maricopa County, power outages temporarily closed two voting locations Monday; in Nevada’s Washoe County, a printing error put “FALSE” on roughly 32,000 ballot return envelopes, alarming voters even though their ballots appear to remained valid; and in Philadelphia, officials are urging voters to resolve identification problems and defective mail ballots that could otherwise go uncounted.
This is what we’ve been conditioned to expect on Election Day: breakdowns, confusion, and excuses. Functioning polling places, clear instructions, swift corrections, and accountability are the bare minimum. A nation with America’s wealth and technology should be ashamed that delivering them is too big an ask when third world countries vote and count the same day without difficulty. Every eligible voter deserves a fair opportunity to vote — and every legally cast ballot deserves to be counted.
The Republican National Committee runs protectthevote.com/report-fraud as its main site for flagging suspected voting irregularities or fraud. Prominent figures like Scott Presler and Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna have shared repeated calls to action, directing people to submit details immediately. State GOP accounts, such as those in New Jersey and Massachusetts, provide localized tips, including hotlines, to encourage real-time monitoring and protect legal votes. The effort focuses on quick documentation reviewed by election integrity teams to support fair elections.

The GOP Congress had one job which they would not do – pass the Save America Act.
And all of this could be solved in one swift action – paper ballots.

And in Alaska, voters face a different kind of election controversy: reports of mailers that omitted incumbent Republican Sen. Dan S. Sullivan while featuring his similarly named challenger, Daniel J. Sullivan Jr. That allegation comes amid investigations into whether operatives aligned with Mary Peltola recruited the challenger to siphon votes from the incumbent—an effort Peltola denies involvement in. Voters deserve to know exactly whom they are choosing. Any operation designed to exploit mistaken identity deserves exposure, and any proven violation of election law deserves prosecution.

An Anchorage Republican’s horror at voting for the wrong Dan Sullivan exposes the stakes of Alaska’s alleged decoy scheme: a voter can walk into the polls backing his senator and walk out fearing he helped defeat him.
