This is what the United States should have been doing from the very first with our foreign policy. Instead of funding, dictators, terrorist regimes, etc., we should have been exporting and rewarding political freedom. There should have been no foreign funding that wasn’t tied to political rights ie freedom of speech, freedom of expression, and equality for all before the law.

The Trump administration is turning its sights to Harvard University, announcing a review of nearly $9 billion in federal grants and contracts as part of its investigation into how schools have handled antisemitism.

Look at the tariffs from other countries:

– 50% tariff from the EU on American dairy

Without election integrity, every other issue is moot. Free and fair elections are the bedrock of a free society. The Save act must pass.

Columbia University has historically received substantial federal support. The Trump admin cancelled 400 million in fedeeral funding but that was merely a drop in the bucket and hardly an impetus for real change. Columbia reportedly receives around $1.6 billion in federal funding, according to analyses of the university’s financial structure,  roughly 28% of its $6.2 billion annual budget.
