Two Extra Hours for Lula, Closed Polls for Bolsonaro Who Refuses to Concede, Vowing to Fight Back in Court for Full Annulment

Flavio Bolsonaro was robbed of an election win. Certainly he was robbed of a free and fair election. The Lula supporting Supreme Court judge Cristiano Zanin unilaterally ruled to keep the polls open for two additional hours in Lula strongholds. Sickening corruption. The Trump Administration should not recognize this result.

When they stole the election from Flavio Bolsonaro, they first removed Bolsonaro’s poll watchers.

Key Points :

  • When the polls closed at 5 pm in Brazil Flavio Bolsonaro had won the election.
  • Polling locations that favor Bolsonaro’s followed the rules and closed down on time. Once they closed down they could not be reopened.
  • Lula wanted voting extended by two hours but couldn’t get approval from the court responsible for election law. So he turned to a Supreme Court justice he had appointed—his former personal defense attorney, who had represented him against corruption charges. Despite lacking jurisdiction over the election, the justice issued the ruling anyway.
  • The decision was the polling locations could stay open for the entire country but only for the polls that had not yet closed.
  • The decision came at approximately 5:03 p.m.—three minutes after polls officially closed. By then, polling stations in areas favoring Flávio Bolsonaro had already followed election law and shut their doors. Under the rules, they could not reopen. Meanwhile, polling stations in areas favoring Lula remained open for another two hours—an unequal extension that critics allege enabled the election to be stolen.
  • Brazil votes in a single day, making equal voting hours essential. Giving Lula’s strongholds two extra hours while Bolsonaro’s polling stations remained closed would create a glaring imbalance with the potential to decide the election. If Lula’s camp knew the live vote margin and used that extension to overcome it, that would be deliberate manipulation—but that allegation requires evidence.
  • One of Flavio Bolsonaro’s stated reason for demanding this election be annulled is that he does not know how many votes he would have received if the polls remained open equally.

The sequence suggests this was planned. Polling locations favorable to Bolsonaro, unaware of the impending ruling, followed the rules and closed on time. Once closed, they could not reopen. The Supreme Court ruling issued by Lula’s former defense attorney allowed polling places still open to continue operating for another two hours. Locations favorable to Lula remained open, giving his supporters additional voting time that, in my view, changed the outcome.

The question also remains whether Lula fabricated votes after the polls closed to preserve his grip on power. Lula is a Communist dictator, and his threat to have Flávio Bolsonaro imprisoned only deepens my suspicions. (source: Jude Hawkins)

  • STF substitute justice Cristiano Zanin — Lula’s former criminal defense attorney — extended voting nationwide by two hours (to 19h) at the Lula coalition’s request, with the order published just three minutes after polls were scheduled to close at 17h.
  • The TSE suspended vote tallying and halted public disclosure of results immediately after Zanin’s ruling; only 0.25% of ballots had been officially counted at that point.
  • Flávio Bolsonaro stated he does not recognize the outcome and announced his legal team will seek full annulment.  More

🚨BREAKING UPDATE: Flávio Bolsonaro just officially contested the results.
He is not giving up. Legal team is deploying to annul. The Supreme Court ruling that flipped jurisdictions came from Lula’s former personal lawyer. That has never happened before. The crowds are still in the streets.

Flávio Bolsonaro Refuses to Concede After Runoff Loss, Vowing to Fight Back in Court for Full Annulment

STF Justice Cristiano Zanin ordered polling stations to remain open until 19h, prompting the TSE to pause vote counting and Bolsonaro’s team to threaten a full annulment challenge.

By Latin Times, Oct 25th, 2026

What began as the tightest presidential rematch in Brazil’s recent history shifted into open constitutional confrontation Sunday night, after Senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL) announced he will pursue legal action to seek a full annulment of the runoff, citing widespread anomalies throughout election day.
