Riots across France have turned streets into battlegrounds, with police facing barrages of rocks and projectiles as fires threaten homes and residents. Marseille is one example of the wider violence: a woman reportedly warned rioters that children were inside a nearby building, only to be met with “We don’t give a f*ck.” That contempt for human life exposes the brutality behind the demands for “rights.”
A rioter hurled a Molotov cocktail at a police officer, engulfing the officer in flames—a horrifying escalation in the attacks on police across France. Calling this “protest” sanitizes the brutality: a firebomb is a weapon, and setting a human being ablaze is an atrocity.
