Colombia has quit the Hague Group, saying the coalition it helped found and co-chair was created to “isolate and attack Israel.”
Bolivia and Honduras have also pulled out.
That leaves Muslim majority countries Senegal, Malaysia, the failed state of Cuba, Namibia and of course, the viciously antisemitic and racist South Africa.

Colombia officially withdrew from The Hague Group in August 2026, marking an end to its role as a co-chair of the coalition Hague Group
Key Details
• Founding & Role: The Hague Group was established on January 31, 2025, as a Global South-led coalition aimed at Israel. Colombia co-chaired the group alongside South Africa, including hosting an Emergency Conference in Bogotá in July 2025.• Withdrawal: Colombia formally exited the coalition in August 2026 under a diplomatic realignment. Foreign Minister Bula confirmed the rejection of the group’s approach, stating the move is part of a broader shift in foreign policy.
• Broader Changes: Alongside leaving The Hague Group, Colombia also notified the International Court of Justice in September 2026 that it was withdrawing its declaration of intervention in South Africa’s genocide case against Israel.
