AMERICAN STASI: 639,000 Republicans Were on Jack Smith’s List – MAGA-Hat Buyers and Donors Back to 2005

This is astonishing. The Democrats are the American Stasi. And nothing from the Democrat media lapdogs.

A new Grassley memo says subpoena returns show Jack Smith’s office and the Biden Justice Department obtained spreadsheets on at least 639,000 Republican donors, voters and supporters, with records going back to 2005. Grassley: The spreadsheets covered Republican donors, supporters and voter data “totaling over 639,000 individuals, at minimum. Out of those, over 148,000 rows are identified in the spreadsheets as donors.” The fields include names, dates of birth, addresses, emails, party registration, occupation and employer, donation amounts “as low as $1,” and “credit card information (including last four digits of credit card numbers).” The memo says Smith’s team also obtained “information on sales of red MAGA hats, including individual buyers, their purchases and their shipping addresses for home delivery.” Grassley: “I again call on my Democratic colleagues to join my oversight work instead of trying to defend Smith and sweep his abuse of authority under the rug.” (Grassley Memo.) David Strom: That’s not an investigation. That’s building a watchlist for the Stasi…And the media…shrugs. (HA.)

Smith’s side, from his September hearing via Fox News: “We acquired financial information.” And: “I had a duty to collect facts.” (Fox News.)

That duty probably didn’t include collecting data about every red hat in the country.
