For context: At year’s end 2025, Venezuela had the most proven oil reserves- at 303 billion barrels. Saudi Arabia was second – at 267 billion. The U.S. is ninth on the list—at 41 billion barrels. This deal, clearly, will alter things considerably (Statranker).
