Virginia Democrats just dropped a redistricting bombshell.
They’re moving toward a 10–1 congressional map for 2026: ten Democrats, one Republican. That’s a Democrat 4+ swing, wiping out four GOP seats in a state that is currently split 6 Democrats to 5 Republicans. Total annihilation of representation. Lawmakers say the official map is coming soon, but even the “trial balloons” all leave Republicans with one seat — at best.
VA Gov. Spanberger (D) laughs, smiles, and signs the redistricting bill that will disenfranchise about 48% of Republican-leaning voters by packing them into one district.
It proposes a 10-1 Democratic advantage.

And what are red states doing? Nothing. Sitting on their hands. Lecturing about “morality” while Democrats redraw the map to lock in permanent power. No retaliation from Indiana. No response from Kansas. No backbone anywhere.
Meanwhile, Indiana Republicans killed a proposed congressional map designed to strengthen Republican seats.
This is how you lose midterms.

Democrats got 51% of the vote in the last VA House of Reps. election.
They are now demanding 91% of the seats…forever.
This is AFTER two-thirds of Virginians voted against exactly this in 2020.

Republicans in Indiana took the "high road" and didn’t redraw 2 Democratic seats in a state that Trump won by +19 pts.
