Tarek Bazrouk identified himself as a “Jew hater,” labeled Jews as “worthless,” extorted “Allah” to “get us rid of [Jews],” called an acquittance a “F—ing Jew,” and told a friend to “slap that bitch” in reference to a woman with an Israeli sticker on her laptop, according to court documents.

Bazrouk is accused of three separate attacks against Jewish people in the city.

Columbia reportedly receives around $1.6 billion in federal funding, according to analyses of the university’s financial structure,  roughly 28% of its $6.2 billion annual budget.
