Another Blood Parade as Gazan Civilians Harass and Publicly Humiliate Hostages Before Release

7

Like bloodthirsty hyenas.

Gazan civilians are lining up to harass the hostages one last time before they’re released. This is completely inhumane and a war crime. It’s clear these subhumans are torturing the Israeli public for sport. Destroying Gaza would be a great contribution to humanity.

Among a litany of human rights crimes and abuses, they paraded a severely mentally unwell Ethiopian man through the streets of Gaza. They held him hostage for ten years.

Hamas on Saturday began to release all six remaining live Israeli hostages in exchange of 600 “Palestinian” prisoners as part of ceasefire deal.

The two newly freed hostages — Tal Shoham and Avera Mengistu — were received by members of terrorist proxy Red Cross at the handover site in Rafah in southern Gaza. Eliya Cohen, Omer Shem Tov and Omer Wenkert were released at a second location in the Gaza Strip later on Saturday. One heartbroken family finally received the remains of a mother murdered in terrorist captivity.

Hamas plans to release Hisham Al-Sayed in Gaza City — the third handover site — without a ceremony. He must be in a terrible state.

Update: Hostages were chained, starved, kept in pitch black; some return almost unresponsive (Times of Israel)

Four Israelis — Tal Shoham, Omer Shem Tov, Omer Wenkert, Eliya Cohen — who were freed from Hamas captivity on Saturday after more than 500 days in the Hamas terror group’s captivity were chained in the dark, starved, and psychologically abused in Gaza, they and their family members said upon their return.

Two further hostages — Avera Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed — who, suffering from mental illness, each entered the Gaza Strip of their own accord some 10 years ago — came home Saturday bearing evident psychological scars from their captivity, and were described by relatives as largely unresponsive upon their return.

Five of six hostages freed after 505 days in Hamas captivity

Eliya Cohen, Omer Shem Tov and Omer Wenkert , Avera Mengistu and Tal Shoham back on Israeli soil after staged handover ceremony; Hisham al-Sayed to be freed without public display

By: Ynet News, February 22, 2025:

Israeli hostages Eliya Cohen, Omer Shem Tov and Omer Wenkert were paraded onto a stage in Nuseirat, central Gaza Strip, alive and walking on their feet, as Hamas staged a ceremony for their release Saturday. The three appeared pale and had lost considerable weight during their 505 days in captivity.

Dressed in military uniforms, they were handed over to the Red Cross which was set to transfer them to the IDF for their return home after 16 months in Hamas captivity since their abduction from the Nova music festival during the October 7 massacre. On stage, Omer Shem Tov was seen kissing the foreheads of two of his captors.

Their families, waiting anxiously to see their loved ones alive, broke out in cheers.
Earlier, hostages Avera Mengistu and Tal Shoham were also released from captivity in a separate event in Rafah in southern Gaza.
