Senate Dems Block Standalone Israel Aid Bill

Senate Democrats blocked a standalone Israel bill Monday evening introduced by two GOP senators that would have provided the country with additional aid as tensions in the Middle East continue, lawmakers confirmed.
Republican Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn and Kansas Sen. Roger Marshall pushed for lawmakers to vote on the standalone bill, leaving out both Ukraine and Taiwan. Following an attack by Iran over the weekend against Israel, which launched 300 missiles and drones, Blackburn immediately called on President Biden to “move quickly and launch aggressive retaliatory strikes on Iran.”
While the U.S., along with other allies of Israel, helped to take out 99% of the strike, White House National Security spokesman John Kirby stated Sunday during an interview that America is not seeking escalation in the matter and noted that what Israel planned to do in response is “up to them.” However, some Republicans still rallied behind efforts to continue the support for Israel.
To persuade lawmakers, Marshall took to the Senate floor to warn about the “attack” Israel faces, emphasizing that he already has called for a vote to support Israel “four times.”

“A friend in need is a friend indeed. So today, we’re here once again offering an olive branch to pass the bipartisan House passed Israel aid bill that can be signed by the President tonight. The House has passed it, we could pass this, the President can sign it tonight and get that aid to Israel. It’s time to show where America stands. Is it with Iran and Hamas? Or is it with Israel? It has to be one or the other,” Marshall stated.
“You can’t choose both. As for me and my family and my colleagues, we choose Israel. Time and time again, I see members, even the Democratic majority leader this week and say he stands with Israel. My message today to my colleagues is that actions speak louder than words,” Marshall continued. “We’re tired of hearing the pro Israeli lip service while simultaneously blocking every effort to help Israel in its time of need. History will not forget this. Let’s do the right thing.”

The dims are hip deep in corruption in Ukraine and they desperately need to fund that blackmail/extortion. The repubs are less enthusiastic in funding the ukes and the dims need to include Israel in that spending bill to guarantee gope support.

If we listened to guys like Tucker on abandoning Ukraine in 2022, China would’ve invaded Taiwan by now.
Some who trusted Tucker came to a sad realization last week when he revealed his full anti-Israelism. Same with Candace Owens, Putin, RT News, and Alex Jones. the masks came off after Oct 7th. False prophets.

The KKKrats used Ukraine as a financial laundromat … and they’ve been at war there since 2014 to make sure the West had no stability … and to prevent Russia from normalizing relations with non-Muslim partners. …
On the ground, it was always a war to ethnically cleanse Russians from east of the Dnipro river. When they ramped up shelling in January 2022, and filled Russian TVs with images of innocent Russians killed in Donetsk, they knew Pootler had to respond.
Now they’ve flipped the script with Israel. For the simple minded normie, Ukraine and Hamas are the good guys. Just follow the mainstream media, and see their reporting. Ukraine coverage is straight from Nazi headquarters, and Hamas coverage is straight from Hamas.
Naturally for the simple minded conspiracy theorists out there … the KKKrat party supports Ukraine and Israel, and this puts Israel in the same position as Russia.
How can you hate Russia for slaughtering innocent Ukrainians, but you’re not allowed to hate Israel for slaughtering innocent Gazans?
Meanwhile TD comes here and complains that we should hate Russia and love Israel … and judge others who disagree without any regard to the media coverage or the political support, which is the basis upon which most people make decisions. That is, people don’t understand issues based on the issue, they understand it based on their team. And Team Hate-America appears to support Ukraine and Israel.
Now the facts, of course, do not support any of this nonsense. Israel is obviously in the right in its conflict in Gaza, and if Pootler is wrong in the Ukraine … it is only in tactics, as testified by the thousands of bodies and hundreds of videos of Russian victims of Nazi terrorism in the Dombass.
Dividing the Right does not help. And refusing to try and talk people off the ledge doesn’t help either. We should be defending Israel by pointing out the Muslim terrorism on-going all over Africa, the ME, and the Balkans. and defending Ukraine by pointing out that they’re being slaughtered to protect the Brandon crime family, and they need a peace plan. We should be resisting Hamas by defunding Muslim terrorism – meaning Iran, PLA, Hamas, UNRWA, etc.
Pardon the rant, but we’re not going to have any Right left behind to defend America from the Left’s next move if we don’t end the divisions.

How do you think Iran and South Africa accuse Israel of genocide? They show testimonies of Palestinians and “thousands of bodies and videos” and pictures of dead Gazans, to accuse Israel of genocide, instead of looking at the facts.
The statistics show that the Palestinian population is up by millions. No genocide.
While the statistics in Ukraine show that the casualties in the Donbas were on steep decline since 2014. (before Putin’s full-scale invasion of 2022). no genocide.
The same tactic the Palestinians use to accuse Israel of genocide is the same tactic their ally Russia uses to accuse Ukraine of genocide. And Russia also criticizes Germany for defending Israel against genocide charges (see my other comment above).
In the Cold War, it was the Russians that taught the Palestinians to use “genocide” and “apartheid” accusations. Moscow taught them to frame their terrorist movement as a human rights movement.

Russia sympathizers have been gaslighting the numbers to make 2% sound like 100% of Ukraine.
