Miami border officials have been instructed to brace for an influx of migrants from Haiti in the wake of the country’s seizure by violent gangs, according to the NY Post.
A confidential email within the agency, which was disclosed to The Post, highlighted the improbability of repatriating Haitians who arrive in Florida by sea due to the precarious situation in their homeland.
Furthermore, the communication cautioned that the arrival of a single migrant vessel could exceed the operational capacity of the agency in the region.
