Governor Ron DeSantis Highlights Proposed Legislation to Strengthen Election Integrity and Transparency Measures

West Palm Beach, Fla. – Today, Governor Ron DeSantis proposed new measures to safeguard the sanctity of Florida elections. The Governor’s announcement reaffirms his commitment to the integrity of every vote and the importance of transparency in Florida elections.

“Last November, Florida held the smoothest, most successful election of any state in the country,” said Governor DeSantis. “While we should celebrate this feat, we should not rest on our laurels. Today, we are taking action to ensure that Florida remains a leader on key issues regarding our electoral process, such as ballot integrity, public access to election information, transparency of election reporting and more. By strengthening these election integrity protections, we will ensure that our elections remain secure and transparent, and that Florida’s electoral process remains a blueprint for other states to follow.”

The proposed legislation takes an important step in designing some of the nation’s strongest election integrity protections and providing unprecedented election transparency for Florida residents. The proposed legislation would include the following measures:

Ballot Integrity

  • Address the use of ballot drop boxes.
  • Address ballot harvesting so that no person may possess ballots other than their own and their immediate family.
  • No mass mailing of vote-by-mail ballots—only voters who request a ballot should receive a ballot.
  • Vote-by-mail requests must be made each election year.
  • Vote by mail ballot signatures must match the most recent signature on file.

Transparency in the Elections Process

  • Political parties and candidates cannot be shut out from observing the signature matching process.
  • Supervisors of Elections must post over-vote ballots to be considered by the canvassing board on their website before the canvassing board meets.
  • Prohibits counties from receiving grants from private third-party organizations for “get out the vote” initiatives.

Transparency in Elections Reporting

  • Requires real-time reporting of voter turnout data at the precinct level.

  • Supervisors of Elections must report how many ballots have been requested, how many have been received, and how many are left to be counted.

The big piece of security that is missing is the application of simple, basic, quality control. It is authorization for the legislature, in its authority over voting, to perform our readily available quality control process at poling places and voting count facilities through observation, sampling and other recognized QC operations. Then the acceptance of vote count for accumulation will require QC approval. Variances can be addressed by hand-count if required to assure voters that their votes are properly recorded and counted..

There is and will not be election transparentcy. They have already shown us how they get people elected. It is nice to know that we never had a choice isn’t it? For one the people they put up on both Democrat and Republican elections are wealthy, usually lawyers, Catholic.

Obviously paper ballots worked for years. Regardless, honesty is required for
anything to give us true results.
So many lies told in politics, at least our vote should be sacred and counted.

How about we just make government less relevant to our lives so that it doesn’t matter who gets elected.

None of which will be done because they can cheat themselves into power without consequence.

Face it secession or CW2, those are the only ways things will ever change.

If it isn’t broken, why fix it?

It won’t be broke again until a Democrat governor takes over.

The intentions of Governor De santis are really true. He is a great
patriot I admit. But, remember one single patriot cannot change the
fate of the entire country. Please consider the following points;

Since the
battleground states play a big role and the president’s election
results boil down to these states. Well if the states like
Pennsylvania, Michigan and Georgia are in the control of Democrats Or
even the RINOS, the remaining states could do nothing. The fake
ballots are stuffed, voting machines are manipulated, the observers
are prevented from doing their impartial duty. To cap all these
frauds we are simply ashamed to see the Judiciary including the
Supreme court are BRAZENLY compromised and firmly in the control of
the invisible CCP. I say with a very heavy heart that even hundreds
and thousands of De santis, Ted Cruses or Sydney Powells are not
sufficient to stem the rot. The only way out of this rut is in the
hands of military. When the Biden administration crosses all limits
of decency, the military should take over the administration into its
hands and pave the way for democracy in America.

If the military can do this, they should have done so already. The way Biden’s handlers are going, very soon there will be a point of no return.

Step one: Voter ID.

Then the rest, including recent updating of the rolls. Removing the dead and anyone over 130 years of age from the voter lists would also be helpful.

I agree, but remember, as any bar owner with a bouncer trying to card the all patrons to keep out the underaged can tell you, even a voter ID is only as good as the person verifying it.
