The University of Arkansas gave the OK for the Students for Refugees group to hold a mock event at the Garden — a beautiful and central meeting place on campus — that gave a taste of what it would be like to host refugees.

The serene campus setting of University of Arkansas was transformed for a time into a mock refugee shelter.

The field was transformed into a tent-filled arena, complete with a boat that supposedly brought the refugees to campus.

More propaganda training for the youthful minds of America …

From the local 4029 TV:

“First, participants were given a passport and a backpack that gave them an identity and country of origin.

“Next, they got on a boat where volunteers read the story of traveling refugees who risk everything to make the voyage to other countries.

“The participants then entered a large tent, where different stations were set up to teach people about different issues that face refugees, like water and sanitation, sex trafficking, and mental health.

“Lastly, volunteers gave them their fate, explaining what happened on their journey. Only 1 in 100 refugees will be resettled in another country.

“They also had a pavilion set up with representatives from local organizations that help refugees coming to our area.”

Here’s a thought: How about holding an event that allows students to live out the Pilgrim’s dream — that serves as a mock play on the landing of European’s on America’s shores, in pursuit of religious freedom? No doubt that would be considered offensive.
