Piker was clearly unhinged last night, and it only got worse, as I predicted this morning. Just days after demanding that the ‘establishment’ get behind El-Sayed and largely succeeding, Piker finished his rant with dark thoughts about his plans for the same ‘establishment’ that has undermined the DSA and radical, anti-Semitic Hamas symps…. “The knives will be out” ….. No kidding. The knives will be out figuratively, and considering the DSA’s propensity for endorsing violent responses, perhaps literally as well. At any rate, the idea that the DSA will simply fall in line for Crowley in the same way that Piker and the socialists demand of Democrats in Michigan is clearly unrealistic. And that means that Crowley may find himself a lonely figure in the general election, with the figurative knives stuck in the back of his campaign. In its way, it’s analogous to Jasmine Crockett’s refusal to play along with James Talarico in Texas, and will likely have a similar electoral effect (Hot Air).
