Iran’s Revolutionary Guards maintained that they had targeted a US military logistics centre in Kuwait.

Iran International: Kuwait’s General Staff of the Army said on Tuesday that its air defenses were confronting hostile drone attacks following what it described as Iranian aggression. The statement said any explosion sounds heard were the result of air defense systems intercepting the attacks and urged residents to follow safety instructions issued by authorities (Iran).

Israel’s Channel 14: While Tehran claims it is only targeting U.S. forces in the region, this attack marks a major escalation: it is the first time Iran has directly struck the official military of an Arab country (C14). Saudi Arabia condemns the attacks: The Foreign Ministry expresses the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s strongest condemnation and denunciation of the attacks targeting a number of Kuwaiti border posts and an offshore drilling platform belonging to the Kuwait Oil Company, as well as the attacks targeting the Consulate General of the State of Kuwait in Basra and two Emirati oil tankers while transiting the Strait of Hormuz, in addition to Iran’s continued threats to the security and stability of the region through its attacks targeting the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the State of Qatar (Saudi Arabia).
