On July 2, I secretly recorded a training held by the Party for Socialism and Liberation where they discussed abolishing the constitution, overthrowing the government, and replacing it with a socialist society.
One participant is a leader in the NEA Teachers Union.
While even the most seditious speech is protected under the First Amendment it becomes illegal if directed at and likely to produce imminent lawless action.

A secretly recorded Party for Socialism and Liberation (PSL) event was held on July 2, 2024. During the session, members discussed abolishing the current U.S. Constitution.
The PSL characterizes the current U.S. Constitution as a document drafted by a slave-owning class that inherently enshrines the rights of capital, meaning a foundational step in their socialist reconstruction of society would involve drafting an entirely new constitutional framework. This aligns with the Program of the Party for Socialism and Liberation, which outlines their core goal to smash the capitalist state and replace it with a national assembly that crafts a new constitution for a socialist society.
