Last night was a big win for President Trump.
In the most critical race, Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) cruised to victory. In Georgia, Trump’s pick Mike Collins just crushed it, advancing to the runoff after defeating former NFL coach Derek Dooley.
Collins had won about 55% of the electorate, whereas former football coach Derek Dooley secured roughly 45% when the race was called by the Associated Press at 8:37 p.m. ET.
The winner will face Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-Ga.), who is running for a second term, in the general election Nov. 3, one of several races widely seen as a pickup opportunity for Republicans to increase their 53-47 Senate majority.
🚨 TRUMP ENDORSEMENTS DOMINATING PRIMARIES, GEORGIA HEADING FOR A RED WAVE!
Big night in the key primaries! In Georgia, President Trump’s pick Mike Collins just crushed it, advancing to the runoff after defeating former NFL coach Derek Dooley.

Collins is fired up: “We stand united around one mission, put a Republican in that seat and get rid of Jon Ossoff in November!”
Trump reacted fast: “So happy for highly respected Congressman Mike Collins. I will be doing big Trump rallies for Mike in Georgia.”
This is one of the key races for continued GOP control of the Senate. Trump had endorsed Collins, currently representing Georgia’s 10th Congressional District (Collins).
Collins defeated Derek Dooley who had been endorsed by Georgia Governor Kemp. Collins will now face sitting Senator Jon Ossoff. In 2020, Ossoff defeated David Perdue in a nail biter—by just two-tenths of a percentage point (Ballotopedia).

Trump-Backed Rep. Kevin Hern Secures GOP Nomination for Senate Seat in Oklahoma
Hern is currently representing the people of Oklahoma’s 1st congressional district is the House (Hern).
This is the seat that was vacated by Markwayne Mullin, now our Secretary of Homeland Security (DHS). Hern will face N’Kiyla “Jasmine” Thomas in what should be a safe GOP seat (Jasmine).
President Trump endorsed Hern in March: Kevin is strongly supported by the fiercest MAGA Warriors in Oklahoma, and the most Highly Respected Leaders in the United States Senate! As the Chair of the House Republican Policy Committee, Kevin is doing a tremendous job advancing our AMERICA FIRST Agenda (News 9).
The Hill: Hern effectively cleared the field when he entered the race in March, shortly after Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin vacated his Senate seat to join President Trump’s Cabinet. Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt (R) appointed Sen. Alan Armstrong (R-Okla), an oil executive, to fill Mullin’s seat in the interim, but state law prohibited Armstrong from running for a full term in the 2026 cycle (The Hill).

In Alabama, Trump-endorsed Congressman Moore delivered a decisive victory. In Georgia’s Lt. Gov race, Rick Jackson moves forward to face Keisha Lance Bottoms.
On the flip side:
Billionaire Rick Jackson scored an upset victory in the Georgia governor’s race against Lt. Gov. Burt Jones (R), who was endorsed by both Gov. Brian Kemp and President Trump in the highly competitive runoff race Tuesday.
Jackson won 53% of voters in the Peach State, while Jones won 47% when the race was called by the Associated Press at 9:45 pm ET.
The billionaire’s victory marks a rare endorsement defeat for Trump, who has enjoyed a near-perfect record in House, Senate, and governor’s GOP primary races this cycle, suffering his first setback in Iowa two weeks ago, when his pick Randy Feenstra lost to Zach Lahn.
The GOP kingpin successfully took down incumbent Sen. Bill Cassidy (R-La.), Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.), and John Cornyn (R-Texas). Cassidy was the first incumbent senator in over a decade to lose a primary.
In the Peach State, Trump and Kemp had been at odds in the Senate race, with the president backing Rep. Mike Collins (R-Ga.) and the governor supporting Derek Dooley. Ultimately, Collins won.
This is a disgrace. Georgians, I’m sorry half your party is apparently stupid.
Either that, or since it’s an open primary state, a bunch of dems flooded your election
Open primaries need to end nationwide https://t.co/1DJ8Epv0M5
