Florida Governor Ron DeSantis proposed a new redistricting map in response to the outrageous gerrymandering stunt by the Democrats in Virginia. Both chambers of the Florida Legislature swiftly voted to approve the map, which will now be sent to Governor DeSantis for a final signature. The new map will potentially net the Republicans four seats in the House of Representatives. A brilliant course of action by the great governor of Florida. All Conservative governors should follow suit.

Florida GOP legislature sends new House map, netting party up to 4 seats, to DeSantis for signature

ADVERTISEMENTThe GOP-controlled Florida legislature passed a new set of Republican-favored congressional lines proposed by Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) on Wednesday as state lawmakers look to fast-track a new House map as the midterms approach.
Florida currently has a 20-8 Republican edge in its congressional delegation, but the new map that DeSantis is proposing aims to create a 24-4 GOP advantage. The House map advanced out of committees in both the Florida Senate and Florida House Tuesday — just hours after lawmakers convened for the start of their special session.
