U.S. Embassy Debunks Tucker Carlson’s False “Detention” Claim in Israel
Tucker Carlson wasn’t “detained” in Israel.
He paid thousands of dollars to use the exclusive Fattal VIP Terminal at Ben Gurion Airport — a private concierge facility designed for dignitaries, celebrities, members of Congress, athletes, and wealthy travelers who prefer privacy over waiting in public lines.

In other words, Carlson chose luxury and convenience — and later tried to spin it as mistreatment.

Describing a VIP security check in a private lounge as being “detained by Israel” is not journalism. It’s fabrication.
Photos show Carlson smiling at passport control, posing with Israeli airport personnel. Hardly the image of someone being harassed.
Former Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett blasted Carlson for what he called an attempt to manufacture an international incident through false claims.
Adding to the controversy: the Daily Mail story alleging Carlson was “detained” was written by Phillip Nieto — a former employee of Tucker Carlson. The White House has confirmed it never asked Carlson to participate in any debate regarding Israel ahead of the midterms, contradicting another claim pushed in the story.

The despicable Jew-hater Tucker Carlson came to Israel to interview U.S Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee. The interview was conducted at Ben Gurion Airport. Carlson did not have the courage or integrity to leave the airport. That is because his vicious and bigoted lies about Israel would be debunked on video. Furthermore, Carlson knows full well that he would not be greeted warmly by the Israeli people, who are fully aware of the lies that he has maliciously spread about Israel at the behest of Qatar.

Instead, the coward Carlson lies about being detained by Israeli security at Ben Gurion Airport. The truth is that Carlson was asked routine security questions that practically all visitors to Israel are asked. Tucker Carlson sparked anger among his fans and many in the isolationist wing of the GOP on Wednesday after the Daily Mail ran a headline claiming he had been “DETAINED” in Israel, a claim the U.S. Embassy quickly denied.
The Mail ran a headline based on comments from Carlson that read, “Tucker Carlson ‘DETAINED’ in Israel: Journalist ‘dragged into interrogation room’ as explosive interview sparks diplomatic firestorm.”
The exclusive report by Phillip Nieto included both Carlson’s full claims and the U.S. Embassy’s denial.
