This after our public announcement of an end to Project Freedom. President Trump disclosed our efforts on Truth Social yesterday: Last month, I directed our Great U.S. Military to execute a secret mission to support Oil Tankers and other Commercial Ships through the Strait of Hormuz. Today, I am pleased to announce that this effort has resulted in more than 100 MILLION Barrels of Oil making its way through the Strait, and into the Open Market. More than 200 Commercial Ships have safely traveled through the Strait. This wildly successful effort is because the UNITED STATES of AMERICA CONTROLS the Strait of Hormuz — NOT Iran. Their military is defeated, and their economy is lost. It’s over for Iran! (Truth).
ar Secretary Hegseth: The United States of America controls the Strait of Hormuz. We’re able to bring oil in and out and other things with partners and have done so now for weeks and weeks in ways the Iranians don’t want to acknowledge. That’s a powerful reality on the ground. Add that to what the United States military, what Central Command did to their Navy, to their Air Force, to their air defenses, to their power projection capabilities (Rothman).
It’s why oil is under $90 dollars a barrel. The enemedia lies – about Iran, about oil, about Trumo, about Israel about everything. Choose who edits your news. Think!

US covertly guides ships through Hormuz amid Gulf tensions
Secret Hormuz missions: US forces are covertly guiding commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz using helicopters to evade Iranian patrols and radar.
Epic Fury shift: Washington says its bombing campaign against Iran has ended, moving towards deterrence and diplomacy despite fresh Gulf attacks.
Navy command shake-up: Top leaders at the US Navy’s largest overseas repair base in Yokosuka have been removed amid ongoing Indo-Pacific operational demands.
US launches covert ship guidance in Strait of Hormuz
The US is quietly shepherding select commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz using helicopters launched from Oman, often under cover of darkness and with transponders off to avoid Iranian detection. This approach avoids the resource-heavy commitment of full naval escorts while still providing real-time threat monitoring against Iranian boats, missile launchers, or drones. Experts note this is a temporary workaround, with only a handful of ships transiting daily compared to pre-war volumes, and that Iran could halt the practice at any time if it chose to escalate. The Telegraph
Do we have small boats making their way out into the strait? Are there any missile launchers popping up over there, or any Shahed [drones] coming out of a village? Basically, they’re providing that sensing layer that allows you to run through the strait, and understand whether there are any threats coming at you.ADVERTISEMENTWashington has signalled an end to sustained strikes under Operation Epic Fury, with Secretary of State Marco Rubio stating the campaign is over. The US is shifting to a posture combining deterrence, diplomacy, and limited responses if attacked, but this strategy is under strain from new Gulf violence, including an Iranian missile strike on Kuwait and attempted attacks on Bahrain. Analysts warn that without tangible diplomatic progress, the pause could be seen as a temporary lull rather than a resolution.
