Times of Israel: The eight former hostages who met with US President Donald Trump release a statement thanking the American leader and his Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff “for their efforts in securing their release from Hamas hell,” and says they stressed to him the urgency of returning the remaining captives from Gaza (Times of Israel).
Trump met with survivors of Hamas captivity at the White House, where they thanked him for his leadership and presented him with a gold plaque. “You are the hope of the hostages,” they told Trump. Omer Shem Tov: “My family and I believe you were sent by God to rescue the hostages.” Trump vowed: “We’ll get them out”
Raylan Givens: The delegation of Hamas hostage survivors met with President Trump: “You are the hope of the hostages.” Omar Shem Tov told Trump, “My family and I believe you were sent by God to rescue the hostages” (X).

Naama Levy: “You were our hope when we were there and now you are their hope.”
Trump: “Until I came along you didn’t think you would get home?”
Former Hostages: “No.”

Hostages tell Trump of captivity horrors: It’s a miracle I’m alive
Watch: Eight freed hostages who met US President Donald Trump in the White House tell the President of some of the horrors they experienced during captivity.

The White House on Wednesday night published an additional video from President Donald Trump’s meeting at the White House with eight Israelis who were freed from Hamas captivity – Eli Sharabi, Keith and Aviva Siegel, Naama Levy, Doron Steinbrecher, Iair Horn, Omer Shem Tov, and Noa Argamani.
In the video, the freed hostages tell Trump of some of the horrors they experienced during captivity.
Aviva Siegel told Trump, “It was the worst thing that anybody can go through. One of the days, they handcuffed one of the boys that was with us, and then he came, and he pulled a cutter, and he cut his hand and smiled. They used to eat in front of us while they starved us.”
Doron Steinbrecher told the President that “it’s a miracle” that she is still alive.
