A Syrian Christian woman was stopped at a checkpoint in Damascus and told by Islamist rebels that women are no longer allowed to leave the house without a male guardian, and that hijab is now mandatory.

Al Jolani was the emir of the al-Nusra Front, the former Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda and the US had a $10 million bounty on his head as a “Specially Designated Global Terrorist”.
Assad was bad, no doubt, but anyone cheering al Qaeda/ISIS takeover is seriously delusional.
