The people have spoken. And the people were not heard by our own party. Rick Scott didn’t even make it past the first round.

BREAKING: Senator John Thune has won the Senate Majority Leader position, winning 29 votes.
Thune is a known Trump critic who previously said he wishes he had a different option than Trump.

Sen. John Thune wins Senate majority leader in second round of voting
Scott got 13 votes in the first round, while Cornyn got 15 and Thune got 23.

Sen. John Thune, R-S.D., won the post of Senate majority leader on Wednesday on the second round of voting.
He defeated Sens. Rick Scott, R-Fla., and John Cornyn, R-Texas.
Scott was eliminated in the first round of ballots cast. He received 13 votes in the first round, while Cornyn got 15 and Thune got 23, according to Fox News.
