Prop One started out as a sordid electioneering ploy on abortion,
then became a sleazy bait-and-switch — not about abortion, not about equal
protection, but about destroying parental rights and free speech.
Prop. One belongs in the trash heap of bad legislation —
and in November, voters should toss it there for good.

This was a diverse group representing the BEST of NYC, dedicated to exposing the bait and switch elements of Prop One meant to confuse the low-information voter. Many passersby stopped and took it all in; only ONE irate trannie felt the need to challenge a speaker and then stomped off.

Under Prop 1 any distinction in law based on “age” could become illegal discrimination. Courts would be empowered to allow medical procedures and products, including life-altering, irreversible medical procedures, to be performed on minors without parental consent. This effectively removes parents from crucial decision-making about their children’s health and well-being.
