United Airlines questioned about DEI impact on hard landing in Houston

A conservative activist is raising questions about whether a relatively recent United Airlines hard landing was attributable to the company’s DEI agenda.

The hard landed occurred on July 29th as a previously uneventful United Airlines Boeing 767-300ER flight from the Newark Liberty International Airport to the George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) in Houston turned awfully dramatic.

“According to the [National Transportation Safety Board’s] preliminary report, while landing at IAH, the First Officer was flying and, despite best efforts to keep the nose wheel from bouncing, the nose wheel made contact with abnormal force,” as reported by Simple Flying, an aviation news source.

“The airplane appeared to bounce, and he reacted by pulling aft on the control yoke, in an effort to keep the nose wheel from impacting the runway a second time. Subsequently, the speed brakes deployed, and the auto brakes engaged which resulted in a second bounce of the nose wheel.”

These bounces reportedly caused significant damage to the airplane.

The question now is why did this happen. Was it the airplane acting up, or was the pilot at fault? According to conservative activist Ashley St. Clair, it may well be the second one.

In a tweet posted Friday, she claimed the pilot was a DEI hire who’d “failed multiple trainings” but been hired anyway because he or she had checked the right identity boxes.

“Was the co-pilot a former flight attendant who was FIRED and then rehired through United’s DEI program despite being on a list to not return to United?” St. Clair wrote in her tweets.

“Am I correct that this individual failed multiple trainings including simulator training? Am I also correct that United has covered up this DEI disaster and many others?” she added.

There was no excuse to ignore the depressurization warning light. Two things could’ve been wrong. One, the light could’ve been defective. Or two, and more likely, the plane had a slow leak. The plane should have been immediately taken out of commission, and the mechanics should have tested the whole warning system. When they found that the problem was actually a slow leak, that plane should not have been allowed back in service, until the source of the leak was found, and the leak fixed in accordance with Boeing’s protocol. Then, all the planes of that type should’ve been checked to see if the problem was not across the board.

Old time airplane mechanics have saved commercial aviation from many crashes or catastrophic failures. In one instance that I remember, an old-time mechanic at Logan airport (Boston) was rebuilding an engine, and the replacement bearing just did not feel right to him. He sent it back to Pratt & Whitney(the manufacturer of the engine parentheses, and it turned out that the bearing was counterfeit.

As a professional engineer, I can tell you that the bolts holding the door plug. We’re not torqued to specification. This is a double failure, because the guy installing the bolts didn’t do his job, and the guy inspecting the bolts to see if they were properly tightened did not do his job. a properly designed bolted joint will not fail if the bolts are indeed tightened properly.

Have you seen seen the latest on Gateway Pundit? The FAA is taking this DEI into the stratosphere. They say they are going to hire the mentally ill, quadriplegics, blind, deaf, epileptics, those with missing limbs, etc. They don’t mention where these folks will be assigned, I just hope its not aircrews or air traffic control. Maybe this is a new way to encourage people to stop flying “to save the planet”.
The 21st Century has got to be the last one!

Two or three major crashes killing hundreds will destroy the aviation industry and kill air travel (other than the wealthy with their private pilots). Think about it. Exactly what the globalsists want. Hmmmmmmm??
