San Diego Human Relations Commission Member Says ‘Book of Jews States Go Kill Palestinians’

11

Recently in San Diego, a member of the San Diego County Human Relations Commission made antisemitic remarks during an official commission meeting, and then, after a firestorm, he resigned. That would be that, just another day in the annals of the steadily rising Jew-hatred in America in 2023, but this story is even more disquieting than that: the antisemitic Human Relations Commissioner, Khaliq Raufi, is a Muslim migrant from Afghanistan, and his remarks were entirely consistent with Islamic teaching about Jews. That means we’re going to see a great deal more of this in the America that the Left has made.

The Times of San Diego reported on July 27 that “San Diego County Supervisor Joel Anderson announced Wednesday that Human Relations Commissioner Khaliq Raufi had resigned over his antisemitic comments during an official meeting last week.” Anderson, who appointed Raufi to the Commission in the first place, was full of righteous indignation at his wayward ex-colleague’s misbehavior: “Commissioner Raufi’s ignorant comments were hurtful and in no way reflect my personal views, but they do highlight the urgent need to focus on education, bridge building, and to advocate for tolerance. After meeting with Commissioner Raufi, I have received his resignation letter.”

Raufi, who arrived in the U.S. from Afghanistan in 1992 and later aided U.S. Marines in Afghanistan, touched off the controversy back on July 18. During a meeting of the Commission, he claimed that he read “a few verses” of “the book of Jews,” and found that lo and behold, “it states go kill Palestinians.” According to the Times of San Diego, he also “claimed this is currently taught in synagogues.”

The assembled gaggle of unthinking, knee-jerk Leftists were appalled. One exclaimed, “Are you serious?,” although anyone who knew anything about what Islam teaches about Jews would have known that Raufi may never have been more serious in his life. Raufi was duly reported, this being the California SSR, as a “hate incident,” via the state’s new CA vs. Hate hotline. And now he has resigned.

Anderson, continuing to establish his virtue, said it was “deeply offensive to quote the religious texts from other’s faiths to support any political or intolerant narrative,” which of course means that he would reject honest analysis of the root causes of jihad violence as “Islamophobic.” He added that he thought that Raufi’s remarks “came from a place of ignorance but without malice,” and expressed the hope that he would “learn from this moment and build a bridge of understanding and tolerance with the Jewish community.”

It is Anderson who is coming from a place of ignorance, and who needs to learn from this moment. Raufi’s Jew-hatred comes from a deep foundation. The Islamic holy book, the Qur’an, says that the Jews are the strongest of all people in enmity toward the Muslims (5:82). They fabricate things and falsely ascribe them to Allah (2:79; 3:75, 3:181); they claim that Allah’s power is limited (5:64); they love to listen to lies (5:41); they disobey Allah and never observe his commands (5:13). They are disputing and quarreling (2:247); hiding the truth and misleading people (3:78); staging rebellion against the prophets and rejecting their guidance (2:55); being hypocritical (2:14, 2:44); and giving preference to their own interests over the teachings of Muhammad (2:87).

There is much more. The Qur’an also says that the Jews wish evil for people and try to mislead them (2:109); feeling pain when others are happy or fortunate (3:120). It accuses them of being arrogant about their being Allah’s beloved people (5:18); devouring people’s wealth by subterfuge (4:161); slandering the true religion and being cursed by Allah (4:46); killing the prophets (2:61); being merciless and heartless (2:74); never keeping their promises or fulfilling their words (2:100); being unrestrained in committing sins (5:79); being cowardly (59:13-14); being miserly (4:53); being transformed into apes and pigs for breaking the Sabbath (2:63-65; 5:59-60; 7:166); and more. They are under Allah’s curse (9:30), and Muslims should wage war against them and subjugate them under Islamic hegemony (9:29).

So it’s no surprise that Raufi thinks that the Jewish scriptures teach that Jews should kill Palestinians; it’s what his book says about Jews, and he likely assumes that this is just a response to the evil Jews’ teachings. The Palestinians weren’t even invented until the 1960s, but he is not likely to know that. In any case, the primary lesson of this ugly incident is that, with the ongoing influx of Muslim migrants into the U.S., there will be more such incidents. But there is no shortage of Leftists in America today, and they will denounce as “Islamophobic” any warning such as this one, and that also will ensure that we have not seen the last of the likes of Khaliq Raufi.

This muslime is a LIAR and needs to have his citizenship revoked and deported. The Jews do not advocate killing people like the muslimes do in the koran.

It sure is. If they go back to their own s_ _ _ _ _ _e countries they’ll be celebrated. If they go anywhere else they will be a cancer to that place and people.

Does this qualify as a blood libel?

Nobody, ever, anywhere, has “…advocate[d] killing people like the muslimes do in the koran.” Only muslimes are suffused with blood lust, whereby their only solution to anything and everything which displeases them, is kill, kill, kill…

Delighted to see that you don’t capitalize muslimes and koran. These are filthy words and deserve no such distinction.

Of course Anderson said it is “deeply offensive to quote the religious texts from other’s faiths to support any political or intolerant narrative”. Why, before you know it, people will start quoting the Koran and you know where that leads

you arrogantly claim you want the ‘truth,’ but what you want is to virtue signal.

if these Koranic quotes are accurate, why is someone deprived of his job merely for believing them?

why not let such believers speak openly and damn themselves with their own words?

instead we play religious bigotry and attack the believer professionally and personally instead of intellectually in a combat of ideas.

in fact, this article is rife with unrequested personal opinions of the writer. who geeves a sheet what this twerp ‘claims’ about his/her superior morality, just like all the other phonies do?

The Koran is more than lies, it’s evil. Fortunately, Israel has the military power, if it was in Reverse there would be no Israel. I believe the Koran was dictated to Mohammad by Satan aka Allah.

When the book of the Jews, the Torah was written, there were no Arabs or fakestinians so commissioner Anderson should have put that in his craven little speech. The muzrat lied but these officials are total cowards and will never say so.
