Lyon, France: A teenager shows a machete in front of a Jewish school and shouts “dirty Jews”

A 15-year-old teenager was arrested and placed in custody in Villeurbanne near Lyon (France) this Thursday afternoon. He is accused of having exhibited a machete to threaten pupils of a private Jewish school, by uttering anti-Semitic insults.

The presence of a suspect was reported to the police around 4:20 pm. The teenager was near the private Jewish school in Lyon, located on Alexandre-Boutin street in Villeurbanne.

He suddenly displayed a machete and threatened several students in the schoolyard, shouting “dirty Jews”, according to our information.

The 15-year-old boy also threw marbles at the victims. The police quickly arrived on the scene and arrested the teen, who was taken into custody. He was previously unknown to the police.

An investigation was opened and entrusted to the urban security of the Villeurbanne police station. The motivations of this teenager will have to be clarified. The investigators will also study his family background.

When the French media don’t mention a suspect’s name, it’s usually because it’s a muslim: they are too happy to publish a French name when they can, in order to protect diversity and open border policies. They want people to forget that anti-Semitic attacks in France are only committed by people of immigrant origin. In France, neo-Nazi and extreme right-wing anti-Semitic groups never attack Jews.
