Ted Cruz reveals eye-opening detail during border trip

Watch Senator Cruz at the Southern border. “On the other side of the river is Mexico. On the other side of the river we have been listening to and seeing cartel members. Human traffickers, right on the other side of the river. Waving flashlights, yelling and taunting Americans, taunting the Border Patrol. Because they know that under the current policy of the Biden administration, they can flood over here. They’re getting paid $4,000-$5,000 a person to smuggle them into this country. And our policies when they smuggle them in, the Biden administration releases them. … Last month, 100,000 people came across the border illegally. We’ve got 15,000 kids in federal government custody.”

Ted Cruz reveals eye-opening detail during border trip

By The First, March 26, 2021

During a livestream from the Southern border early Friday morning, Senator Ted Cruz revealed an eye-opening detail, and it points to just how destructive the Biden administration’s current policy on immigration is.

While standing on the banks of the Rio Grande with several other senators, Cruz said he witnessed cartel members and human smuggles taunting Border Patrol because they know the Biden Administration is doing so little to stop them.

On the other side of the river is Mexico. We’ve got 15,000 kids in federal government custody.

“This is a humanitarian crisis, this is a public health crisis,” he said, explaining how illegal immigrants are testing positive for COVID at a rate seven times higher than the American population.

The Left was so eager to blame Donald Trump for “kids in cages,” but now that Biden is in charge the concern is nearly non-existent.
