You thought it would stop with the defaming and deplatforming of foes of jihad terror? No. Soviet-style judgments of insanity are next. And what will come after that? The answer is clear enough.
AFP reported Tuesday that French “far-right” (i.e., opposed to mass Muslim migration and French cultural and political suicide) leader Marine Le Pen “goes on trial Wednesday on charges she broke hate speech laws by tweeting pictures of Islamic State atrocities, a case she has slammed as a violation of free speech.”
Not coincidentally, Le Pen is riding high in the polls, and she “will likely face off again against Emmanuel Macron in next year’s presidential contest, after her National Rally made its strongest showing ever in the 2017 vote.”

She has gone on trial, and was previously ordered to undergo psychiatric testing, because she “shared the gruesome images in December 2015, a few weeks after Islamic State group jihadists killed 130 people in attacks in Paris, in response to a journalist who drew a comparison between IS and her party. One of the pictures showed the body of James Foley, an American journalist beheaded by the Islamist militants. Another showed a man in an orange jumpsuit being run over by a tank, and the third a Jordanian pilot being burned alive in a cage. ‘Daesh is this!’ Le Pen wrote in a caption, using an Arabic acronym for IS.”
Why did she do that? Out of a lurid fascination with blood and gore, or some secret sympathy for the Islamic State’s jihad? No. She tweeted out those images because her party was being likened to the Islamic State in the French media. In a bid to bring the national discussion back to some semblance of sanity, she pointed out – by means of visual aids – that her party was not behaving in the same way as the Islamic State, and not leaving a trail of bloodshed and death in its wake.
But that means nothing to the French authorities who are desperate to destroy her, her movement, and any and all opposition to their globalist, socialist, open-borders agenda. According to The Local, she was charged with circulating “violent messages that incite terrorism or pornography or seriously harm human dignity.” Adding to the Orwellian flavor of the whole scenario was the fact that this order was issued on September 11.
Le Pen is still trying to inject a note of sanity into this fantastically insane public discourse, stating: “I thought I had been through it all: well, no! For denouncing the horrors of Daesh (Isis) by tweets the ‘justice system’ has referred me for a psychiatric assessment. How far will they go?!”
How far indeed? Le Pen was defiant: “Of course I will not go to this psychiatric assessment and I will wait to see how the magistrate intends to force me.” Now, with her trial, we are all waiting. The French authorities have begun to engage in the Soviet tactic of branding their opposition mentally incompetent, and so it is reasonable to ask what other Soviet tactics will follow. Will thuggish “security personnel” knock on Le Pen’s door at three in the morning, and drag her off to a prison cell and physical and psychological torture? Will she end up in a camp where the truncheon will be employed liberally until she emerges “reeducated,” loving Big Brother and proclaiming that Islam is religion of peace and tolerance that has nothing whatsoever to do with terrorism?
These kinds of scenarios are not hysterical fantasies anymore, if they ever were. If Le Pen is ordered to undergo psychiatric examination for the completely sane act of opposing the Islamic State and refuting claims that her movement is like it, then all bets are off. France, like Britain, is rapidly descending into totalitarianism, with Biden’s U.S. not far behind, and there is no telling where it will end. If thoughts that dissent from the Leftist establishment agenda can be prosecuted and declared to be evidence of insanity, then the door has been opened to all the rest of the features of the reign of terror that always accompanies the rule of the hard-Left.
And so we will soon see. Will French authorities convict Le Pen, and fine or imprison her? Or will she be declared mentally incompetent and confined to a psychiatric hospital? Will others who declare that Islam is not a religion of peace and that mass Muslim migration into Europe is unwise be likewise declared insane and carted off to hospitals and/or prisons? Will France and other Eurosocialist autocracies open gulags for those who dare to say that jihad terror is something that decent people should oppose?
Le Pen also stated: “It’s really incredible. This regime is really starting to worry me.” You and me both, sister.

Just finished a book comparing Hitler and Stalin. The author notes that in the USSR “justice” system, you could be found guilty of thought crimes. It’s really getting like that here. The author gives the example of a woman tried for murder even though she wasn’t even in the country at the time based on the fact that her THOUGHTS were the same as the actual murderers. She didn’t even know the murderers. So years ago Shepherd was a homosexual dragged to his death (in Wyoming I think) so the homosexual advocates began saying that all people who did not think homosexuality was normal or as valid as non-homosexuality as a lifestyle were to be thought of as being the same as those who dragged Shepherd to his death. We see this malignant approach today with the idea of “white privilege.” Sadly I went to high school with this punk named Noel Ignatin who became one of the original commies to develop this idea of “white privilege.” He died of bowel obstruction in 2019. Some writers observed that he died from blockage caused by his own s****. It seemed to some like poetic justice.

Bowel blockage/obstruction is a frequent dilemma and often a cause of death in the Gay community.
Leftist Gays in politics typically advocate the more extreme forms of Socialism/Communism and do so becasue they have no children, no skin in the game and no investment in the future and so don’t care and only give lip service to future implications.

What’s happening in France with Le Pen is another page of the globalists play book, this time chapter “Dehumanize” your opponent before trying to neutralize them politically. Trump went through this from 2016 and is still fighting back.
What the French political elite is attempting is nothing less than their own political survival by trying to silence a Macron opponent {with a chance of doing well } before she can gain real traction.
She will point her finger of blame towards those who welcomed into France others responsible for the terrorist murders of over three hundred innocent people because of the elites unreasonable infatuation with “open borders” regardless of where those people came from or what they believed . If she can make the charge stick, it will prove deadly.
I hope readers here understand one or two things about political left wing globalist elites, there is no depth they will not stoop to in order to survive and stay in authority, and I include the UK and U.S in this. The recent rigged election in the states rather proves the point.
Trump has stood two show trials and now it’s her turn in France. The UK ought to be next but the elite there are more ruthless and cunning at retaining a grip then anyone else I can think of.

Robert Spencer is one of my top five commentator favorites. I went to a banquet, and somebody told me he was in the room. There were hundreds upon hundreds of people there and I went looking for him. Finally I saw him sitting quietly by himself. I went over and said, “Mr. Spencer, is that you?” He was startled and perhaps a little afraid. I didn’t see any bodyguards with him as I did when I went to an event where Pam Geller was the speaker. Spencer wasn’t scheduled to speak. Anyway, I introduced myself to him and thanked him for enriching my life and American life with his research, knowledge, and books. A truly great man!!!

The Inquistion was a big nothing in comparison to what Pol Pot, Chairman Mao or Uncle Joe did in their respective countries. Maybe ten thousand people were killed in the entire period of the Inquisition, but ten thousand people killed was nothing but a less than productive genocidal year in the Pol Pot regime and a less than productive genocidal month for Chairman Mao or Uncle Joe. Chairman Mao literally killed tens of millions of Chinese and, arguably, the slaughter has yet to stop in the PRC considering 400 people were disappeared from Hong Kong in January, 2020 never to be seen alive again.
