President Trump set to hold 3 rallies in Michigan on Sunday, Monday

Trump will speak in Macomb County at 11 a.m. Sunday at Total Sports Park in Washington Township. Doors to the event open at 8 a.m. He will hold four other rallies on Sunday in Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
Then, on Monday, a day before Election Day, Trump will speak at 5 p.m. at the airport in Traverse City. Doors open at 2 p.m.
Later in the day, Trump will hold a rally at 10:30 p.m. at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.
The president concluded his 2016 campaign with a late night rally in Grand Rapids on the eve of that election. At around 12:30 a.m. on Election Day, he told a crowd at DeVos Place convention center: “Michigan stands at the crossroads of history. If we win Michigan, we will win this historic election and then we will truly be able to do all of the things we want to do.”
ADVERTISEMENTGrand Rapids is Michigan’s second largest city and is located in Kent County, which is widely considered a key county for Trump’s re-election hopes.
Once a bastion of GOP support, Kent County is trending toward Democrats.
In 2016, Trump won the county by 9,400 votes — nearly his statewide margin — or 3 percentage points. Two years later, Democrat Gretchen Whitmer won it by 11,600 votes, 4 points, on her way to becoming Michigan’s governor.
Trump also held a rally in Macomb County two days before the election in 2016. He won the county by 12 percentage points, or about 48,000 votes, four years ago.
On Monday, the president will also appear in North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.
