The Democrats are shredding our our election system — its accuracy, its integrity. Their objective? Election chaos.

Over 223,000 mail-in ballots bounced as ‘undeliverable’ in recent Clark County, Nevada, primary election

By C. Douglas Golden, August 7, 2020:

If you support universal (or near-universal) mail-in balloting for the 2020 election, you also have to believe we can get it right (or right enough) the first time, even though mail-in balloting on that level has never been tried before.

Story continues below advertisement

You also then have to explain away why, in Clark County, Nevada, universal mail-in balloting resulted in one out of every six ballots being “undeliverable” in a recent primary.

According to the Public Interest Legal Foundation, a conservative election integrity watchdog legal firm, over 223,000 ballots bounced because the addresses were incorrect or outdated.

This, PILF said in a news release, was 17 percent of all ballots in Clark County — by far the most populous county in the state of Nevada, comprised of Las Vegas and the immediate metro area.

“Unlike Washoe County and others, Clark County (Las Vegas metro) opted to send actual mail ballots to every registered voter on file for the June 2020 Primary election,” the organization said. “The figures released by the Clark County Election Department to the Foundation outline the risks of the forthcoming all-mail election for Nevada purely from cost and process error standpoints.

TRENDING: Border Agents Discover ‘Most Sophisticated Tunnel in US History’

“Prior to the election, county officials testified that an all-county mailing would be needlessly expensive and result in significant amounts of ballots sent to wrong or outdated addresses, given that ‘inactive’ registrants would be included in the bulk mailings. They projected an expense of $184,738 to send to inactive registrants with an expectation that at least 90% would bounce back undeliverable in the mail.”

Of the 1,325,934 ballots sent out, 223,469 were undeliverable. This is even more staggering when you consider 305,008 ballots were accepted and returned. Running the numbers, that’s roughly three ballots undeliverable for every four that delivered and returned.

“The addresses that we used were provided by the voters when they registered,” Clark County spokesman Dan Kulin told The Washington Free Beacon.

“If they no longer reside at the address they provided to us, then we would expect that mail to be returned to us, which is what happened.”
Let’s put this into some more context, though, as PILF did using data from U.S. Election Assistance Commission Surveys.

In the 2012, 2014, 2016 and 2018 general elections, the state of Nevada saw 5,863 mail-in ballots returned undeliverable.

That’s not an average. That’s combined.

“These numbers show how vote by mail fails. New proponents of mail balloting don’t often understand how it actually works,” PILF President J. Christian Adams said in the news release.

“States like Oregon and Washington spent many years building their mail voting systems and are notably aggressive with voter list maintenance efforts,” Adams said. “Pride in their own systems does not somehow transfer across state lines. Nevada, New York, and others are not and will not be ready for November.”

PILF communications director Logan Churchwell said the elections department in Clark County told the County Commission that sending out a ballot to every voter who was officially registered was “a costly exercise of sending mail to addresses that were sure to bounce any parcel.”

It was done anyway, and here we are.

“Nevada’s voter rolls aren’t maintained to the standard required for an all-mail experience like Oregon or Washington,” Churchwell told The Free Beacon.

“The Nevada governor is foolish to think he can replicate his regional neighbors’ years of development and practices with mail voting in a matter of months with a weekend emergency bill,” he said.

President Donald Trump echoed this in a tweet Wednesday, saying, “Nevada has ZERO infrastructure for Mail-In Voting. It will be a corrupt disaster if not ended by the Courts. It will take months, or years, to figure out.”

That emergency bill also authorized ballot harvesting — the process of allowing someone who isn’t related to the voter to collect mail-in ballots. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the GOP is likely to sue over that provision; the Trump administration has already sued the state over its intention to send a mail-in ballot to every registered voter.

The Review-Journal article Tuesday said that “officials entrusted with carrying out the Nov. 3 general election report no major problems with the changes, saying Nevadans will have access to a safe election with timely, accurate results.” I hope Review-Journal writer Rory Appleton smiled as he wrote that.

While polling data is scattered, according to RealClearPolitics, several sources have moved it from a toss-up state to leaning Democrat. NPR made the move this week, while Politico’s Election Forecast did so last month.

In the 2018 election, meanwhile, ballot harvesting was credited with a slate of Democrat House wins in California. According to Politico, California has declined to alter its policy allowing the process despite the potential risk of party volunteers going door-to-door collecting ballots in a relatively uncontrolled environment.

Given that this was just passed as part of an emergency bill, Nevada has no experience with ballot harvesting.

Clark County, at least, has slightly more experience with universal mail-in voting, having 17 percent of its ballots ending up undelivered.

We’re supposed to make the assumption that, between June and November, the county managed to fix the problems. Not only with the undelivered ballots, mind you, but with the deluge of voters who’ll be requesting a change of address once they realize they didn’t receive their ballot because of incorrect voter information.

And then we’re supposed to assume the state can handle and regulate ballot harvesting — a process that didn’t just lead to the Democrats’ near-sweep of California swing districts in 2018 but also the most egregious case of voter fraud in recent memory.

That involved a Republican — North Carolina GOP candidate Mark Harris, who was declared an early winner until charges of fraudulent ballot harvesting forced a new election, which he didn’t take part in. Harris employed a political operative to harvest ballots who allegedly took blank ballots with signatures on them — with the not-unpredictable result that there were “extreme statistical outliers” that favored Harris.

So Clark County and Nevada will have all of this sorted out by Election Day — and will be prepared to count an insane amount of ballots.

It’s not just Clark County, of course. In New York City on Tuesday, the winner of two hotly contested congressional primaries affected by mail-in balloting issues were announced, according to The New York Times. Sure, there were a few teething problems, right? If you consider the fact that the primaries were held on June 26, well, yes.

But if we implement nationwide mail-in balloting in just a few months, everything will be fine. All this will be sorted out and our worries about universal mail-in will be a distant memory.

And I’m Ross Perot.

Does anyone or any body of people at the federal level have a say in how the elections are supposed to go for a federal election? I can see the states setting their rules for state elections but this is a federal election.

We shld attack the teachers’ unions in today’s world. From pre-K-12, kids are indoctrinated to believe the USA is evil. That didn’t start until about the ’70s. Well, abolish the unions, as this is their doing to teach their curiculum (sp?)…..By the time they’re starting college the kids have already been indoctrinated

Any opinions on this? Is this possible?

Mail-in voting could delay 2020 ballot count for months,
making Nancy Pelosi (acting) president?

Professor Lawrence Tribe of Harvard floated a new rationale behind Democrats’ push for mail-in voting,
invoking the 20th Amendment as the scheme’s foundation.

It will be a repeat of Al Gore’s hanging chad story, with lawsuits and Soros-funded state and county officials unwilling to certify any election results. Democrats have been preparing for this scenario.

CNN reported, “Joe Biden’s campaign is assembling hundreds of lawyers nationwide to monitor potential voting issues as part of its extensive voter protection efforts heading into the general election.” There will be mass confusion.

Enter Professor Tribe’s prediction. Section 3 of the 20th Amendment.

If a President shall not have been chosen before the time fixed for the beginning of his term, or if the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be selected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.

Or could this be the scenario using the 12h Amendment ?

If the PSA (Presidential Succession Act) may not apply since Pence is on Trump’s ticket. would the 12th Amendment apply in a contested election with all the chaos going on ? Then each each state delegation for the House of Representative gets one vote to choose the President. If a state has more than one Representative, the delegation must choose one representative to represent the state. Congress is dominated by Democrats and I don’t know if that will change. The Senate is dominated by Republicans and who knows who will have the majority in January or if they have any influence.

12th Amendment

Either way this could be a nightmare scenario!

Tribe suggested the possibility of Pelosi as acting prez after the 2020 election. Remember, Pelosi has to win HER election to the HOUSE (same 2020 election) and the Dems (communists) must retain a House majority. The House takes their seats in early Jan while the prez won’t be sworn in ’til Jan 20. ALL GOP candidates, particularly out west, shld NOT assume a defeat but shld call for a recount AUTOMATICALLY……IMHO

Pelosi will never be useated in her distict. Her district is brain dead the Governor is
a relative. A Pelosi son married William Newsom’s daughter, Barbara. Until they divorced, that made Nancy Pelosi something like an aunt by marriage to Gavin Newsom
https://www.ocregister.com/2019/01/06/gavin-newsoms-keeping-it-all-in-the-family/

If need be they will have voter fraud insure Pelosi wins even if they have to fill out the ballots themselves. Wasn’t it LA that had 120% turnout for the last vote?

If the Dems don’t hold a majority in the US House, then Nance is history (as far as assuming duties of Prez). In fact, the GOP would have McCarthy (CA, too) as speaker of House. Another thing we shld watch for in the elections….

No, it was the RED states too! Notice Trump jumped on this in 2017!
He got no cooperation even from RED states and this was before the Chinese virus came along.
Also not the GOP still doesn’ t see a problem with mail in voting fraud. They want Trump to lose too! I’ll post on that separately. We are being set up to LOSE to Biden by the GOP too! Trump’s voter fruad commission was forced to shut down with due to no cooperation from the state governors and they were Republicans too not just Democrats.

Senate Majority Whip John Thune Positions to Support National Mail-In Ballots…
Posted on August 7, 2020 by sundance

One of the more challenging facets to awakening the general public on the scale of corruption within Washington DC is the need for people to drop party designations. This is never more true than within the U.S. Senate where the “us -vs- them” mentality reigns supreme.

The system is created to self-sustain regardless of party affiliation. The Senate is one club with one perspective. Within that club rule #1 dominates: none of the members will ever expose another member. So when there is corrupt activity within the Senate no-one from within the institution with expose another. This is the way of the Senate and how it operates.

Current Senate Leader Mitch McConnell has a leadership group who carry out the institutional objectives of the upper chamber as a body, they include: Senator John Thune (whip); Senator John Barrasso (conference chair); Roy Blunt (committee chair); Todd Young (NRSC chair); Jodi Ernst (conference vice-chair); and Chuck Grassley (president pro tempore). None of these senators make a move publicly without approval from Leader McConnell.

Today Senate Whip John Thune rebuked the mail-in ballot concerns expressed by President Trump. Thune does this because ultimately the objectives of the upper chamber are more favorably aligned if President Trump is removed.

WASHINGTON DC – […] Asked if he agreed with the president’s repeated charges that mailed-in balloting will lead to a “rigged election” and “massive voter fraud,” the Senate majority whip told reporters, “I don’t.”

“Mailed-in voting has been used in a lot of places for a long time and, honestly, we’ve got a lot of folks that, as you know, they’re investing heavily in trying … to win that war. It’s always a war too for mail-in ballots. Both sides compete, and it’s always an area where I think our side, at least in my experience, has done pretty well,” Thune answered, adding: “I think we want to assure people it’s going to work, it’s secure and if they vote that way it’s going to count.” (read more)

Missing the point here. Now that the Clark County Election Department knows which addresses were undeliverable, they know which voters they can safely manufacture ballots for. As a bonus, if somehow one of these voters does vote in person, since they’re counting the ballots any evidence of this vote fraud scheme can be covered up.

Even if it isn’t the Election Department itself, do you think they didn’t give the Democrats this address data? Note that the Election Department didn’t say they removed voters as a result of this exercise, so having this address data is fraud heaven.

-One statistic, perhaps I overlooked, of the delivered and returned mail-in ballots; what percentage and number were cancelled for one reason or another meaning that voter lost his/her vote to an imperfect system? I review review of ballots done by both a GOP and a Dem Rep? Otherwise the system is open to wide experiences for voter fraud? Has Nevada considered regardless of who wins the Presidential election, mail-in voting results has set up the perfect platform to contest the election’s results. Nevada as many other States will be sued and forced to defend themselves about process and discarded votes at great expense?

Who’s to know how many votes are discarded? Most people will believe they voted. The whole idea is to steal the election from Trump. I don’t know if the 12th or 20th Amendament could come into play. Any opinions on this?

https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-12/

Either way this could be a nightmare scenario!

I could be wrong, but I don’t think the Presidential Succession Act (PSA) initially applies here, the 12th Amendment would. The PSA applies if the President and Vice President are both UNABLE to serve as President and/or when a “Contingent Election” as specified in the 12th amendment initially fails. In a CONTESTED election, the 12th amendment applies. If the general election fails to produce a clear winner, each state delegation to the House of Representatives gets one vote to choose the President. If a state has more than one US Representative, the delegation must choose one representative to represent that state.

I don’t know the current (or future) make up of each state delegation, so I don’t know who would likely control the majority. Again, this doesn’t mean who controls the House of Representatives – it means who controls the majority of the state delegations to the House.

If this contingent election cannot elect the President by inauguration day (January 20th) then Section 3 of the 20th Amendment applies. The PSA is empowered by this section. Under the PSA, the Speaker of the House could then become Acting President, but only TEMPORARILY until the contingent election is resolved. It is important to note that whomever takes the position of Acting President must first resign both their leadership and membership positions in the House (please see the PSA).
