Geese honking, iPhone ringing: Biden event beset by bloopers

Former Vice President Joe Biden faced a number of distracting interruptions Monday during a virtual speech: honking geese, chirping birds, a ringing iPhone and what was assumed to be a Secret Service agent standing in the background of his shot.
Nevertheless, Biden virtually addressed the Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) Victory Fund to knock President Trump’s virus response and accuse him of fanning flames of “hate, fear and xenophobia” against Asian-Americans amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“The pandemic has unleashed familiar forces of hate, fear and xenophobia that he always flames and fans. The flames have always existed in our society. But with this president, they brought with it a new rash of racist messages, verbal physical attacks and other acts of hate,” Biden said.
At one point, Biden, whose windows appeared to be open in the background, had to address the obnoxious squawking.
“You’re going to hear, there’s a pond on the other side of my property here. A lot of Canadian geese. If you hear them honking away, they’re cheering, that’s what they’re about,” Biden said.
Joe Biden’s remarks are interrupted repeatedly by aggressive geese in the background, who are honking loudly over him. It’s the closest thing to a protest he’s faced in months, when antagonists interrupted his events and Jill Biden blocked their path and guided them offstage.

Biden again accused Trump of refusing to take action early enough, saying all the president did was “make false promises and dismiss the experts.”
“Now, 90,000 Americans are gone. … Millions more are struggling to pay their bills. And this president can’t summon barely a word, barely a word of empathy,” Biden continued.
The former vice president also accused his competitor of failing to get coronavirus relief funds to small businesses: “Trump is out there tweeting again this morning. I call him President Tweety. ‘Reopen the country’ — How are we supposed to do that if you’re sitting on the money small businesses need? Stop tweeting about it. Get the money out to Main Street.”

This man represents a Party whose policies have been proven to be without substance, and is evidenced by the debacle over Benghazi, Iran, Ukraine and China, super imposed on the attempt to wrongfully, and I believe criminally, with the aid of the media, to accuse Trump of treasonous conduct involving a made up charge that he was “in bed” with Russia, over the course of the administration of this country during the Obama/Biden years. He has shown himself to be overtly greedy as represented by his conduct involving Ukraine, which directly benefited his son and likely himself, and has maintained a wrongly favorable policy towards China, which country intends to bury us. On top of those factors he is showing his age, and as I have personally experienced the onset of dementia in my own dad, who I cared for over his last years, his comments and conduct seem to those of one in the early stages of brain disorder. With the socialist policy of the Democratic Party his vanguard, and the hand out philosophy to non citizens moving this country to bankruptcy, how our electorate can even consider him for the POTUS job is frightening. Putting him and his party in charge will be the death of this great republic. All the objective evidence points to that. If we are concerned for our grandchildren, right thinking Americans must reject this man for the most important job of administering this country. Knowingly or unknowingly, he and his Party will sell us OUT!!!
