House Dems overwhelmingly reject motion to condemn illegal immigrant voting

Story continues below advertisementNearly every House Democrat on Friday opposed a measure condemning voting in U.S. elections by illegal immigrants, as part of a sweeping election reform bill.
The GOP-backed measure would have added language to the “H.R. 1” election proposal stating that “allowing illegal immigrants the right to vote devalues the franchise and diminishes the voting power of United States citizens.”
ederal law already prohibits non-citizens from voting in elections for federal office. But the GOP motion referenced how San Francisco is allowing non-citizens, including illegal immigrants, to register to vote in school board elections.
The motion was voted down 228-197. All but six Democrats in the House voted against it. Just one Republican opposed it.
Lauren Fine, a spokeswoman for House GOP Whip Steve Scalise, pointed out that an identical resolution was adopted by the House last September. But on Friday, 41 Democrats flipped to oppose the latest measure.

Right on Ziggy and Felix. I would point out that this was not an overwhelming rejection. Those who rejected it failed to recognize that the power of Congress is essentially limited to how and who should be able to vote in federal elections, promoting fairness and convenience, with the mechanics of the voting process left to the states, and I cannot believe that our founding fathers ever expected that non-citizens would have that right to vote in federal elections. I also expect that the media will see it differently and report that result as proof that those who voted in favor are bigoted and racist. That would be consistent with their political journalism that I have complained about. I am more convinced than ever that the media has become a “political party” espousing not relevant journalism, but instead pursuing their own views of what THEY SEE as best for America. That is not, and never has been their job as Journalist’s. I could go on and on, but I see no point in presenting what I see as terribly inappropriate conduct by the
media politicians. People, stay strong, stay positive, stay unswayed by these new media political “machines.”

In fact the FBI and ATF was becoming fully weaponized under Obama to do that very thing. They were well into the meme of “white terrorism” and “white violence” being a national problem and Muslims and blacks being the very definition of peace when Trump was unexpectedly elected.
I wonder what Trump did with all those guns and ammo Obama ordered for the EPA, DOEducation, Post Office, Treasury, land agents, Interior, HUD, the DOEnergy etc. it was enough to equip the entire Canadian Army. All, apparently, to be used on American citizens.

I do not oppose immigration, after all I am a descendent of immigrants. Unfortunately, times have changed and immigration as an open uncontrolled concept is today inappropriate. That is due to the daily consequences that involve this countries national security and the safety of America’s well being. The world has gotten smaller, and we have seen how easy violence can come here to cause havoc and injury. The cultures out there now have the means to bring their havoc and consternation to our shores and thru our borders. Today, unlike 150 years ago, we are dealing with belief systems that look upon or culture with disdain, and must, by necessity protect ourselves. While I understand that some immigrants are not expecting to promote violence and they are motivated by their belief that they can “prosper” here, the world contains too many who would come here with evil intentions, today. We need to keep them out for our own protection. Until they prove themselves to have accepted what being American is all about, they should not be allowed to VOTE! That should be recognized up front, and I pity the ultimate consequences for this country, if our leaders do not see that reality.

The Democrats’ reasoning is self-evident; it is a Party of unmitigated corruption, subversiveness, and hell-bent on the Republic’s end. They will throw Joe and Joanne America under the bus to regain and sustain power. Next, they will undermine the Constitution; that is when all Hell will break loose. There is no need for a crystal ball or a misfortune-teller to predict the Republic’s fate. This splintered, disunited nation will witness a Civil War, the likes of which it has never witnessed.

Let’s repeat – House Democrats overwhelmingly reject motion to condemn illegal immigrant voting! WHAT??? Why would any American who understands this egregious Democrat power grab ever vote for a Democrat again?? The Democrats have declared war on any American who wants to preserve the U.S. Constitution and protect American national sovereignty – any American who elected President Trump. The Democrats lost the battle of the Mueller “investigation” and are losing the battle of the impeachment “inquiry.” The Democrat war against America will be decided in 2020 – of course the Democrats want illegals to vote! Illegal voting is their only path to victory.
