Facebook Created Over 100 Pro-ISIS Pages, Meantime Censoring Conservatives

While still facing criticism over the censorship of conservatives, Facebook was walloped by a report this month that documented hundreds of pro-terrorist pages created by the social media giant itself.
Story continues below advertisementThe report came in the form of a Sept. 12 update to the National Whistleblower Center’s assessment of criminal and terrorist activity on social media.
“Nearly 200 auto-generated business pages for the Islamic State were recently identified,” the report reads, “and dozens more pages for other terrorist groups including Al Qaeda and Ansar Al Sharia remain on the site.”
Some of the vile pages carry names that one might think should trigger a lightning-fast response from Facebook’s supposedly sophisticated algorithm, including “I love islamic state,” “Afghanistan Terrorist School” and “Islamic State Training Camp.”
It can’t be stressed enough that these are not pages created by individuals that happened to slip past Facebook’s algorithm, but rather pages auto-generated by the social media platform itself.
Facebook’s response to the controversy downplayed the significance of the pro-terrorism pages.
“Our priority is detecting and removing content posted by people that violates our policy against dangerous individuals and organizations to stay ahead of bad actors,” a Facebook spokesperson told The Associated Press.
“Auto-generated pages are not like normal Facebook pages as people can’t comment or post on them and we remove any that violate our policies.”
“While we cannot catch every one, we remain vigilant in this effort,” the spokesperson said.

“Facebook would like us to believe that its magical algorithms are somehow scrubbing its website of extremist content,” Kostyack told the AP.
“Yet those very same algorithms are auto-generating pages with titles like ‘I Love Islamic State,’ which are ideal for terrorists to use for networking and recruiting.”

These revelations would be sickening by themselves, but they come at a time when Facebook is still engaged in outright censorship of conservative viewpoints.
It boils down to this: While Facebook let pro-terrorism pages stay up for extended periods of time, the platform had no problem removing a post from angel mom Mary Ann Mendoza.

It’s not just everyday citizens who are getting punished by Facebook, either.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s own page was hit by the social media giant, and had a vital feature turned off shortly before a crucial and close election.
The page was found guilty of posting “hate speech,” according to Facebook’s guidelines.
Facebook undoubtedly has the power to shape culture and politics across the world through its selective censorship, and this recent revelation of auto-generated pro-terrorism pages is even more worrying.
The social media company is currently attempting to win back public favor and appease lawmakers.
But it’s becoming clear Facebook can’t be trusted to police public discussion, let alone itself.

Youtube/Google are just as evil in censoring Conservatives and anyone that says ‘boo’ about Islam.
Trump has been a huge disappointment on the freedom of speech front as well. I get that he’s fighting many battles, but he’s not there on issues that really matter.
Without free speech, the Jihad murder machine is going to roll right over us and we won’t see it coming.

I know you are sour on Trump but what would you suggest that he do in addition to taking the issue up with the FCC and the FTC? It is making it’s way through the courts since the DEMS and RINOS in DC are doing NOTHING about it. Dumping on Trump will not change that. He is dependent on others to DO THEIR JOBS and STOP IT. Trump is only one man and there is only so much that one man can do at one time. I would argue that the failure to get things moving faster is due to the relative apathy of self identified conservatives who have failed to stage supportive marches or other things to let the world know that Trump is expressing our opinions.

If Suckerberg wants to be a “publisher” then he can be like the NYT, and publish lies BUT even the NYT has to retract or correct some of their lies. The Daily Mail was sued by Melania for calling her an escort and she won. There is a limit to what lies you can publish. I would think that even a “publisher” can’t advocate for Muslim terrorism…..
If he had claimed he is a utility, then he can be regulated. I’m not sure where censorship legally falls. Publishing lies is one thing but censorship might be different since it is a fundamental right and violates a First Amendment right.

“Words” can make all the difference in the war against Leftist totalitarianism. Instead of “censorship” we should call it “discrimination” against people based on their opinions or, depriving them of their basic human right of free expression of ideas. I would even be OK with ISIS propaganda (minus any threats of violence as per Federal Law) as long as there is freedom to bash ISIS and other anti-Infidel Islamic groups with impunity along with their ideological inspiration, namely Islam. Better to have a war of “words” than a real war. It’s why we have “freedom of speech” even though the right to freedom of “religion” didn’t define “religion”…I should have the freedom of speech to criticize any and all “religions” including, and most importantly, the so-called “religion” of Islam which is a threat to all of our freedoms. Per all the “Rules” to put limits on “free speech” I don’t see anyone in the West putting any limitation on the Islamic “holy book” or other Islamic Hate-filled teachings that are chock full of violent threats against Jews and other infidels.

I do blame Jefferson et. al. for not defining “religion” and for not specifically excluding Islam as one of those “religions” that had the “freedom” to infiltrate our society. Founding Fathers should have known better BECAUSE they were educated men and because they knew the relentless jihad attacks of Muslims on Western Civilization ever since that “Death Cult” was invented and because of the Muslim Barbary Wars. It’s almost as if they planted this suicide pact within the 1st Amendment calling for freedom of “religion” (not o/w specified). All they meant at the time was freedom of different sects of Christianity as existed in Europe at the time and for Judaism which was already part of the Christian biblical culture. Islam always was and still is the enemy of Judeo-Christian Western Civilization. The Founders should have defined religion better…..or they should have said any group of people vowing the death of those who follow Christianity, Judaeo, Buda, etc., ….is not a “religion”….vowing the death of anyone, or any collection of people for any reason should not be covered by Freedom of Religion….we saw how that worked with Hitler and the Jews…..

I don’t get political on FB because it’s just for family and close friends. On Twitter I could get very political. What good is it to have an opinion or knowledge of an impending disaster, a threat to our freedoms and you don’t inform those who are seemingly oblivious to it? Twitter has our POTUS and other influential political and conservative leaders. You should take advantage of that opportunity even if the Twitter Nazis kick you off–it won’t be right away, they’ll first give you “time outs”…then if you persist reporting the hideous facts about Islam…(you have to do reply tweets to influential twitter users with a large following to get noticed) they’ll eventually ban you and then you know you at least tried…you were a “WARRIOR.” My second account only lasted 3 months. Sure it would have been nice if our Founders defined religion better…but no one is even having a discussion about that oversight, not even Mark Levin. Although we have laws against the atrocities that are condoned by Islam, somehow Muslims still can get away with rape of infidels, child marriages, FGM, etc. in the West—-because that’s OK in their “religion” and authorities are afraid to be labeled “Islamophobic.” It drives me crazy. Don’t waste time preaching to the choir here when you have the opportunity to educate others on Twitter. What if HItler called Nazism a “religion” and referred to some mystical deity that commanded him and his followers to convert all non-Nazis?

It’s not islamophobia when they really do want to kill you. The threats posed by Islam and its adherents are quite real. Phobias are irrational. Nothing irrational about fearing an ideology that seeks to destroy the civilization that your ancestors have been building for 3000 years.

Actually, the term “Islamophobia” is REAL and, in addition to being the favorite silver bullet used by all Muslims, their Leftist allies and the Western Leftist News media outlets to shut down criticism of Islam, it’s also the reason why Leftist politicians and news media aren’t forthcoming about terrorism or the epidemic of rapes and other crimes committed by Muslim migrants. The Leftists are the most Islamophobic of all, because they are genuinely AFRAID of pissing off Muslims because they know that Muslims (unlike Christians, Hindus, Jews or Buddhists) retaliate with violence if they happened to be “offended.” If posts are put on FB or Twitter, et. al., that are unflattering to Islam, even if factually true, the spineless scaredy-cat Leftists don’t want their buildings blown up by Muslims who will see it as violations of Sharia Blasphemy Laws. That’s why these Leftist tyrants in control of social media have their own cadre of Muslim consultants to determine which posts are offensive to Muslims so they can be purged. That’s what those “rules” mean when they ban any “free speech” because it “incites hatred and violence”…meaning MUSLIMS are prone to violent retaliation if they happened to be “offended” by something you say.
Yes, our Founding Fathers missed the boat by not qualifying the term “religion” in the 1st Amendment. Islam should be considered in the same “free speech” political category as the KKK, Nazism, Communism, fascism which can be condemned in the public square with impunity.

It’s worse than we knew….Mark Levin had Professor Robert Epstein on his “Life, Liberty & Levin show a couple of weeks ago. If you can find that episode it is startling…..he ran algorithms in the last elections and he can show that Google and Face Book searches redirected so many searches that it changed over a million votes in just one state…..
The man is a devout Dimm, but even he was scared and worried about the future of voting. If you can find this episode on streaming TV, it is well worth your time and effort…

“Algorithms” is a lie. But I’ve already said too much on my thread, so I’ll leave it there. Anyone with some common sense should be able to ‘reverse engineer’ what Fascist/IslamBook is doing and why. Just ask yourself. Who would pay for this? Who would do this? Where is the real labor force? And where are the primary data centers?
Any answers you come up with will be better than Suck’emberg’s lies.
