Europe: Threat ‘Acute’ as Islamic Attacks Double in 2017

21

Islamic terror attacks in Europe are on the rise, and authorities are warning the danger from ISIS and ISIS-tied terrorists isn’t on the wane any time soon.

In fact, Europe’s law enforcement say the number of Islamic terror attacks doubled between 2016 and 2017.

Last year, 33 terror attacks were reported in Europe — 10 of which were carried out successfully.

The Straits Times has more:

[Islamic] attacks on European targets more than doubled last year, Europe’s police agency said on Wednesday (June 20), warning the risk of more unsophisticated attacks by the so-called Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group “remains acute”.

Last year, a total of 33 terror attacks were reported on the continent and Britain, 10 of which were successful – killing 62 people – while the rest were foiled or failed, Europol said in an annual report issued in The Hague.

That figure compared with 13 reported attacks in 2016, of which 10 were successful leading to 135 deaths.

However, the “increase in the number of jihadist terrorist attacks in 2017 ran parallel to a decrease in sophistication in their preparation and execution”, Europol’s 2018 Terrorism Situation and Trend report said.

This included the attack on London’s Westminster Bridge on March 22 last year and a similar attack on London Bridge two months later when attackers simply drove vehicles into pedestrians and stabbed bystanders with knives, killing 13 people in total and wounding some 98 others.

Terrorists who carried out such attacks in the EU in 2017, were mainly home-grown, “meaning that they were radicalised in their country of residence without having travelled to join a terrorist group abroad”.

Amid a series of offensives, ISIS fighters who swept across large parts of Syria and neighbouring Iraq in 2014 declaring a so-called “caliphate”, have mostly now lost control in those areas.

“As IS gets weaker, it has been urging its followers to carry out lone actor type attacks in their home countries, rather than guiding them to travel to the so-called caliphate,” Europol said, using an alternative acronym for ISIS.

But it warned: “The threat of jihadist attacks in the EU remains acute, as demonstrated by the attacks which took place in 2017.”

France, Germany, Spain and Belgium on Wednesday launched an initiative seeking to set up a European register to share vital counter-terrorism information, the judicial cooperation agency Eurojust said.

“The current terrorist threat is essentially a domestic threat from home-grown fighters, that is to say people of European origin,” Belgium’s federal prosecutor Frederic van Leeuw told a press conference.

The new register would allow information about current investigations to be passed between EU states to help build up a complete picture.

“The quality of European judicial cooperation in the fight against terrorism is an absolute requirement,” France’s top anti-terror prosecutor Francois Molins said.

“We have to do even more than we are already doing, and I am delighted at the creation of a European register. By working in a more intelligent manner, we will be stronger,” he added.

There is no leadership in the face of terrible dangers and this throws a new light on the putting away by the police and judiciary of many people, and the war on many liberationists intending to enter Britain to speak and thereby advise and guide. The ruling class is working to isolate the British liberationist movement in the face of great and most awful dangers. This is also helped by the actions of the Fascist left like the antisemitism of Livingstone, Corbyn and the Labour Party. I look again at the trial of Tommy in 2017 by Norton and I now think that all of these such trials should be tried by a jury of twelve and a liberationist should never be left facing a judge with the judge “judging” on her own without a jury.

How do you tell the “radical” muslum from the “moderate” muslum? Whoever can tell the best lies?

Thanks to taqiyya and other Islamic methods of deception used against non-Muslims, there is no reliable way to tell which Muslims are dangerous and which are not. Of course, this is true of non-Muslims as well, but the difference with Islam is that it is a system of belief which mandates the violence of jihad against unbelievers.

I didn’t even know that, I haven’t watched any of her material for quite some time because it seemed like she was soft on islum.

Ms. Malkin is from the Philippines, a nation which has had struggles with an Islamic separatist movement in their southern islands, i.e., such as Mindanao, for many years. I don’t claim to know her well, but what I have seen tends to indicate that she is a pretty tough customer on the issue.

“THEY” have been hinting that they plan to “do” a BIG ONE that will eclipse 9/11/2001 with deaths! So far, only individuals killing a dozen here, 50 or 60 there! It will TAKE 4000 or 5000 deaths to wake up the CITIZENS and then get RID of the trash “leaders” who have sacrificed their countries to get the damn “migrants” to keep voting them into office, over and over!

You know, I’m getting tired of the media attempting to pin every attack on ISIS when in fact just about any mosque is likely to generate a terrorist attacker due to their constant refrain of death calls ! Get serious people, if you insist on allowing mosques in your country then at least monitor them with undercover people, listening devices any every other possible way.
Don’t want to take those steps because Islam is a religion ? You are wrong, it’s called a religion by Islamists to stop our monitoring them. In reality Islam is a complete way of life with rules on living (shariah), governing and invading a non Islamic country. Islamism has told us point blank of their goal of ruling every country world wide ! Think that’s too big a task, think again as they are almost there. Think of all the related “ism’s” communism, socialism, Nazism.

“…..“We have to do even more than we are already doing,…..”

No, fool, you need to STOP what you idiots are doing, bringing IN MORE MURDERERS! And when one of “those” people commits a crime, castrate the bastard, THEN send him packing back to his country of heritage origin no matter if he (or SHE) was born in your silly country! And, break out those mothballed GUILLOTINES in France and put them to good use, televising “THUMP JUSTICE ” for rapists and murderers!

Merkel is FINALLY waking up (due I’m sure to physical threats against her), Macron seeing the devastation of this ideology on his homeland and Tradeau…well, he’s a very slow, arrogant learner who will admit the mistake when he’s told too by the hand that feeds him! Shame on them all, the damage is done but they have not won!

Apparently, this is the way of the west (and the dogs know this).
