As it is inundated with Muslim migrants, will Europe go gentle into that good night, or will it rage, rage against the dying of the light? If the Mayor of Palermo, Italy, Leoluca Orlando, is any indication, Europe has already happily turned off the light switch and celebrated the impending darkness.
Orlando recently said in a pro-migrant article published by the French newspaper Libération: “If you ask me how many immigrants there are in Palermo, I do not answer 60, 70, or 80,000. Anyone who arrives in Palermo is a Palermo.”
Really? Is everyone who stands in a garage an automobile? But Orlando wasn’t finished. He continued: “The future has two names: Google and Ali the immigrant. Google expresses the virtual connection and Palermo is today the best wired and computerised city in the entire Mediterranean. Ali the migrant represents the human connection. We want to be a welcoming and modern city.”

How wonderful – because, you see, Mayor Orlando thinks the Muslim migrants will fight against the Mafia: “Until I was 30, I did not see a single immigrant in Palermo. Because the mafia was pushing them away. They are afraid of diversity. Since I became mayor and the mafia no longer governs the city, something extremely beautiful has happened: we have been invaded by immigrants.”
How extremely beautiful indeed.
Yet what neither Leoluca Orlando nor anyone else will acknowledge is that Islam is a political and social system as well as a religion. All too many of the Muslim migrants are coming to Italy those who do have a ready-made model of society and governance that they consider superior to the Italian model, and are determined to replace the one with the other.
And there are other considerations as well: many of the “refugees” are jihad terrorists. All of the jihadis who murdered 130 people in Paris in November 2015 had just entered Europe as refugees. Iin February 2015, the Islamic State boasted it would soon flood Europe with as many as 500,000 refugees. The Muslim migrant influx into Europe started soon after that. The Lebanese Education Minister said in September 2015 that there were 20,000 jihadis among the refugees in camps in his country.
Meanwhile, 80% of migrants who have come to Europe claiming to be fleeing the war in Syria aren’t really from Syria at all. So why are they claiming to be Syrian and streaming into Europe, and now the U.S. as well? An Islamic State operative gave the answer when he boasted in September 2015, shortly after the migrant influx began, that among the flood of refugees, 4,000 Islamic State jihadis had already entered Europe. He explained their purpose: “It’s our dream that there should be a caliphate not only in Syria but in all the world, and we will have it soon, inshallah.” These Muslims were going to Europe in the service of that caliphate: “They are going like refugees,” he said, but they were going with the plan of sowing blood and mayhem on European streets. As he told this to journalists, he smiled and said, “Just wait.”
On May 10, 2016, Patrick Calvar, the head of France’s DGSI internal intelligence agency, said that the Islamic State was using migrant routes through the Balkans to get jihadis into Europe.
But none of that is of any concern to Leoluca Orlando. As far as he is concerned, life is beautiful, Palermo is beautiful, and it is only being made more beautiful by the entrance of all these beautiful new Palermans. What could possibly go wrong? Only racist, bigoted Islamophobes would think that any of the newcomers have any malevolent intentions, right? They will all be grateful to their Italian hosts, and together they will link arm in arm and marching happily together into the glorious multicultural future, right?
This will not end well. But as the jihadi machete begins to slice through Leoluca Orlando’s throat, he can muse happily in his final moments on how very, very beautiful it all has been.

The Mafia really only kills their own, turn coats, rats, etc… They rarely kill innocent by standers. For a crime syndicate – the Mafia basically has rules. Innocent people rarely get harmed as the Mafia deals with their “justice”

I have heard some inane and insane things from the mouths of politicians, municipal, state, federal but this guy is the Three Stooges morphed into one. Most frightening, he is not alone; there are others of his like throughout the West. The mayor of Minnesota comes to mind, Betsy Hodges. In Palermo, the mayor’s true-believers will be celebrating his death by those more righteous than Islam, the Mafia.

Fight the mafia? I’m not originally from this area. I’ve lived in Europe (hated it), Japan, Republic of Korea .. but a string of misfortunes brought me to Northeast Nohio … for a great deal longer than my worst nightmares would have ever predicted. Again, making a very short story quite long … there’s a great deal of crime, in Cleveland. Many areas of town, and the inner ring suburbs have gorgeous older homes. Many natives have shown me pictures of some of these neighborhoods, in the seventies … SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL … that, today, there is no way to rehabilitate, with the exception of a match and accelerants. I have asked them why Cleveland, and especially some of the suburbs used to be so safe and prosperous .. To a man/woman, I have received the same answer … “The Mafia kept the streets safe.” I kid you not.

Why the citizens allowed this piece of garbage to remain in office even one more day after he made those comments, is a testament to how far europe has gone. If those same citizens would start by throwing out that canoli-faced mayor, then on to the filthy immigrants, they might get their city back.

I hope to visit Palermo to study the beautiful remains of the buildings and exquisite art works commissioned by the Norman French nobility who ruled a kingdom there in the 12th century.
The embellishment was carried out by Moorish, Jewish and Christian craftsmen and is regarded as being of the highest standard.
If the Muzz and African Negroes haven’t wrecked the whole place before i get there.
Local people elected him, if they know how he feels, they can unseat him too.

IIRC many, if not most, Sicilians are of Arab stock genetically (400 years of muslim occupation tends to do this) and the Mafia/Cosa Nostra/Camorra was formed as organized resistance to the muslim invaders.
As they broke away from the muslim society then in Sicily and the lower third of Italy you can see their Islamic vestiges in their obsession with family honour, propensity towards violence and their treatment of women.
However this swine is perhaps simply finding his islamic roots (via oil money??) while the Mafia should be the ones actually fighting the invasion(hmm let’s see about this one as much money is involved and money beats mafia honour any day).
I do hope that the mafia come calling on him but alas! IMHO they are too greedy to worry about the survival of the goose that lays the golden eggs that they harvest (ie. the west).

I really hope the majority of Italians are not as stupid as this Italian mayor. But I keep reading story after story of Muslims taking over parts of Italy…..like this story and the recent story of Genoa Italy. In Genoa Italy, Muslims are silencing the bells of the Christian Church….and as far as I know, Genoa Italians are allowing it.
Now the mayor of Palermo Italy is acting stupid by praising Muslims. I hate to say it….but these Italians who accept/praise Muslims DESERVE all the Muslim chaos and destruction they are going to get. When you play the Stupid Game of Muslim Multiculturalism….you win Stupid Prizes like chaos, violence, terrorism and destruction of European/Christian culture. Evidently, Italians want to join the rest of the Idiot nations of Western Europe like Germany and Sweden…..and play Stupid Games.

Apparently the only people in western Europe left with brains in their head are Geert Wilders, Marie le Pen and their followers. Hopefully some insane Muslim immigrant will show his gratitude by cutting Mayor Leoluca Orlando’s throat.
