Belgium Moves to Expel Mosque Imam, Citing National Security Threat

14

Belgium authorities have taken steps to remove an Egyptian imam named Abdelhadi Sewif from one of the country’s largest mosques, and expel him from the country.

Why?

MEMRI has had its eyes on Imam Abdelhadi Sewif for some time for the radical rhetoric he preaches in Belgium.

According to intelligence officials, this imam preaches such vicious rhetoric he’s now being considered a “national security” threat.

The imam’s lived in Belgium for 13 or so years already.

The Washington Free Beacon has the story:

Immigration Minister Theo Francken revoked the permit of Imam Abdelhadi Sewif, a man of Egyptian origin who had lived in Belgium for 13 years, AFP reported.

Sewif had been a Islamic religious leader at the Saudi-financed Grand Mosque, which is located nearby to the European Union headquarters in Brussels. Francken said the imam was “very radicalized” when describing the reason for the decision.

“We have had very clear signals he is a man who is very radicalized, salafist, very conservative and dangerous for our society and national security,” Francken told local radio broadcaster Bel-RTL.

“Everybody knows there is a problem with the Grand Mosque in Brussels. I decided to withdraw the residency permit of the imam of this mosque,” Francken added.

The decision not to renew Sewif’s permit was initially made in March, but after he appealed, the decision is under review and a Judge is expected to review the case on Oct. 24.

Belgium has experienced a rising problem with radical Islam, particularly leading up to the deadly March 2016 bombings in Brussels. The attacks, which killed 32 and injured over 300 people, were a devastating exemplification of the growing problems with radicalization, the Washington Post reported. After those events, the Grand Mosque had to defend itself against claims of “forcing practices of Islam” and of developing a “hotbed for extremism,” according to AFP.

Iman for All Seasons – by J.Ihadi

Abdelhadi looked own at the street from his apartment window.
Traffic rushed to and fro on the street below, as rain ran down the window.
Another day in Belgium in infidel lands.

In a corner sat wife number three, or was it four – he had lost count.
“Bring me water” he shouted, hitting her over the head with a stick.
She cried out and ran to the kitchen, returning with a glass, full to the brim.
He knocked it from her hand.
“Filthy whore” he cried “I said bring me coffee”.
Stunned she returned to the kitchen and brought coffee.

He sat by the window, lost in thought.
The tide was turning, many martys had died – yet the infidels were still strong….
What was Allah thinking of, to let this happen?
Soon he would return to Egypt and face the wrath of his sponsors,
Ami Fat and Bumluk Biginthis.
They would send him to work in the shoe factory, nothing could be worse.
Perhaps one last action would win back their favour.
He sipped his coffee and looked down at the street below.
Many infidels made many targets, it would be easy.

Too little too late.

Muslims are united in their goal of occupation , domination , terrorising and subjugation and practice Islamic Art Of Occupation & Ethnic Cleansing Without Killing http://bit.ly/2y1iju8

while infidels are clueless and disunited. Unite, fund, support, inform, Organise and resist . Or you’ll end up in a Islamic hellhole.

I’m sure this must be the only imam/mullah/cleric who preaches “radical” islum right? At least that’s what the Belgianstan authorities would think.

Possibly IIT, but let’s be grateful that the Belgian authorities have had the courage to at least make a start.

If the sky stays up there, you never know, they might get to like it and do it again, they’ve got plenty you know.

They are reviewing the case “The decision not to renew Sewif’s permit was initially made in March, but after he appealed, the decision is under review and a Judge is expected to review the case on Oct. 24”. The typically stunned belgians will allow him to stay on compassionate grounds, apparently western europeans have compassion for very violent murderer, but none for victims.

The new counter terror measures by the French announced today will cause a few there to sit up.

Belgium will study the reaction and consult, with the elections in Austria in 10 days time expected to show increasing support for the anti Islam party, things finally seem to be on the move.

How much time did it take for their government to act? Months? Years? And how many imams are just like this one?
