Adebolajo has hired a lawyer to pursue compensation of £25,000, claiming to ‘suffer distress, loss and damage.’ But the two-year fight could end up costing taxpayers a further £50,000 in legal costs and £25,000 for a police probe – bringing the total to £100,000.”

LEE Rigby’s killer is claiming £100,000 of taxpayers money after he was left with a “psychiatric injury” in prison, but the soldier’s grieving mother said he “deserves to die in jail”.
Michael Adebolajo butchered Lee Rigby, 25, on the streets of Woolwich, South East London in May 2013, but now claims the taxpayer owes him compensation.
Lee Rigby’s mother Lyn, 50, has described it as “blood money”.
She said: “This is gut-wrenching for me, my family and Lee’s memory.
“And still he holds his hand out for blood money. He hasn’t suffered. He doesn’t know the meaning of pain.
